Abstract: A multipoint communication server for establishing multipoint communication between a plurality of endpoints, the multipoint communication server comprising: a data repository containing the set of endpoints identifiers wherein each endpoint identifier corresponds to a participating endpoint, a media processing unit configured to receive an upstream media stream from an emitting endpoint, the media processing unit being further configured to generate a plurality of downstream media streams for the participating endpoints, wherein the data repository further contains a replication inhibition set which consists of a subset of the set of endpoint identifiers and comprises at least the endpoint identifier of the emitting endpoint, wherein the media processing unit is configured to generate the downstream media stream for each participating endpoint whose endpoint identifier belongs to the replication inhibition set so that the downstream media stream does not replicate the upstream media stream.

Abstract: A server for providing a quieter environment in an open work space that has a plurality of work places used by a plurality of users comprises a processor configured to receive digital audio signals corresponding to ambient noises captured by microphones at the work places, compute average values that represent current noises at the work places, compute a threshold value that represents a current noise in a neighbourhood of a first work place as a function of p values that represent the current noises at p work places that are neighbors of the first work place, compare each digital audio signal with the threshold value, determine the digital audio signals that are greater than the threshold value to determine at least one work place that corresponds to a digital audio signal that is greater than the threshold value, and send a warning to a user of the determined at least one work place.

Abstract: A device (D) is designed to process communication data from at least one user, This device (D) consists of i) the means of analysis (MA) tasked with analysing incoming and/or outgoing communications data from at least one user communication terminal (T) in order to determine selected information about said communications and the other users, called “contacts”, involved in at least one of these communications, and ii) the processing means (MT) tasked with assigning a weight to each communication involving the user according to the information determined for said communication and at least one selected rule, and then creating a contact data file in which each contact is assigned an overall weight equal to the sum of the weights assigned to each communication involving him or her and the user.
