  • Patent number: 7419583
Abstract: A process for catalytically reforming a gasoline boiling range hydrocarbonaceous feedstock in the presence of hydrogen involving the following steps: (a) reforming at least 5 vol % and at most 50 vol % of the feedstock in a first reforming unit having a fixed bed of catalyst particles; (b) passing the effluent stream of the first reforming unit to a separation zone having a separator and a stabilizer to produce a hydrogen-rich gaseous stream, a C4? hydrocarbon stream and a first reformate; (c) reforming the remainder of the feedstock and at least part of the first reformate in a second reforming unit having one or more serially connected reaction zones, each having a moving catalyst bed, which are operated in a continuously catalyst regeneration mode; and, (d) passing the effluent stream of the second reforming unit to a separation zone having a separator and a stabilizer to produce a hydrogen-rich gaseous stream, a C4? hydrocarbon stream and a second reformate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 20, 2003
Date of Patent: September 2, 2008
    Assignee: Shell Oil Company

  • Patent number: 6936263
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of the major OprI lipoprotein of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to elicit a Type-1 immune response towards a heterologous antigen. The invention relates specifically to the use of OprI—antigen fusion proteins to elicit the Type-1 response. More particularly, the present invention is directed to pharmaceutical formulations comprising OprI and/or OprI fusion proteins, optionally together with a suitable excipient, to stimulate the Th1 dependent, cellular immune response.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 16, 2002
Date of Patent: August 30, 2005
Assignee: Vlaams Interuniversitair Instituut voor Biotechnologie VZW
Inventors: Hilde Revets, Pierre Cornelis, Patrick De Baetselier

  • Patent number: 6130085
Abstract: A recombinant vector for cloning a heterologous nucleotide sequence and/or expressing it and/or transferring it to a cell host. The vector includes, at a site which is not essential for replication, the gene coding for a lipoprotein other than E. coli lipoproteins, or a part of said gene which contains the elements required for controlling the expression of said lipoprotein and exposing it on the surface of the outer host cell membrane, so that the heterologous nucleotide sequence can be inserted into the gene or said part thereof under conditions suitable for expressing said heterologous sequence and exposing it on the surface of the cell host.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 8, 1996
Date of Patent: October 10, 2000
    Inventors: Raymond Hamers, Pierre Cornelis
