Abstract: A sheet which constitutes a liner, cover or curtain is secured to a shipping container. The sheet has an elongate attachment zone which is thicker than the material of the sheet. A clip is formed with an elongate hollow portion having a longitudinal slit along the length thereof. The attachment zone of the sheet is in the hollow portion of the clip with the sheet emerging from the clip through the slit. A cord is connected to a lashing point in the shipping container. The clip has a passageway through which the cord passes thereby to attach the, clip and the attachment zone to the lashing point.

The elements have recesses (12, 14) in their upper surfaces for receiving bottles. There is a second pair of elements inverted with respect to the first pair and having recesses in their lower edges. The recesses of the second pair of elements register with the recesses of the first pair of elements so as to define circular bottle receiving openings. A ring of cushioning material lines each opening. The cushioning material is in the form of semi-circular strips, the strips of registering recesses forming a ring, or in the form of a complete ring. Each ring includes a web (24) which lies against the semi-circular faces (20, 22) of the recesses (12, 14) and flanges (26) which lie against the side faces of the elements (10).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for forming costal prostheses, composed of elements of four types: (a) thin, narrow, straight elements, (b) bent elements having an angle of 15.degree. to 45.degree. comprising a pair of crimping jaws, (c) individual clips constituted by a pair of clamps opposite a pair of crimping jaws, (d) straight connecting members constituted by a pair of crimping jaws. The combination of these elements enables any necessary thoracic prosthesis to be composed.
