  • Publication number: 20240073211
Abstract: There is disclosed a method and system for retrieving user data. The method comprises extracting attributes of a client device. The extracted attributes are stored. A browser instance is generated using the extracted attributes. The browser instance is configured to impersonate the extracted attributes. The browser instance is used to access a service provider server. The service provider server sends a request, to the user, to perform a two-factor authentication. After the user performs the two-factor authentication, the browser instance retrieves user data from the service provider server. The browser instance is then stored.

  • Patent number: 6826184
Abstract: Multiple connections between switches that share the same Quality of Service (QoS) requirements are multiplexed onto a single virtual connection or switched path. The switched path may be established using a known standard or proprietary protocol, or even without knowledge of the underlying protocol. Provisioning and management software provided on the switches create originating and destination end points. When the network operator provisions an end point, a switched path call setup request is made to a networking interface which establishes a connection using a selected routing system through the network having the provisioned characteristics, such as bandwidth and QoS, of the switched path.

  • Patent number: 6024821
Abstract: A method of positioning two strips of a wallpaper border in a non-aligned abutting relationship on a continuous surface is disclosed, in which an end of a first strip of the wallpaper border is positioned in an abutting relationship with an end of a second strip of the wallpaper border and in which the strips are at a pre-determined angle. The wallpaper is wallpaper having a dominant design feature. The method comprises placing a clear plastic sheet over the end of the first strip of wallpaper border and marking a line on the clear plastic sheet that contours around the dominant design feature on the wallpaper. The clear plastic sheet is positioned at the predetermined angle over the second strip of wallpaper border such that the line contours around the dominant design feature on the second strip of wallpaper border.

  • Patent number: 5430728
Abstract: In LAN interconnect, it is necessary to perform route discovery to locate a destination device. A novel method of selecting designated source routing bridges and a new single-route broadcast scheme using those selected bridges are disclosed. The invention makes use of intelligent source routing bridges which connect LAN segments. In order to configure a single-route broadcast path to each connected LAN, a selection procedure is performed among source routing bridges according to the present invention to ensure that there is only one path between two connecting LAN segments. In one embodiment, a packet switching network is used as a WAN which interconnects many LAN segments by way of a virtual ring created in the WAN and the present invention chooses only one path between the individual LAN segment and the virtual ring.

  • Patent number: 5056142
Abstract: A decryption device, comprising a substrate, a plurality of encrypted information symbols located within a rectangular array of further symbols carried by the substrate, wherein the array is arranged in a predetermined number of rows by a further predetermined number of columns. A pair of registration marks are carried by the substrate and located on opposite sides of a predetermined one of the rows. An overlay is adapted for covering the rectangular array, and includes a first pair of apertures arranged to uncover the pair of registration marks, and a plurality of further apertures arranged to uncover the plurality of encrypted information symbols responsive to the first pair of apertures uncovering the pair of registration marks.
