Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for use in beautifying superimposed handwriting on a computing device are provided. The computing device includes a processor and at least one application for processing handwriting input under control of the processor. The system application receives handwritten input as a plurality of at least partially superimposed input strokes, determines geometrical information of a plurality of characters defined by the handwriting input, determines a structuring transformation of the handwritten input in accordance with the geometrical information to align the characters in non-superimposed order, and causes display of, on a display interface of the computing device, digital ink in accordance with the structuring transformation.
