  • Patent number: 8033471
Abstract: An optical image reader is provided. The image reader includes, for example, a targeting system for an imager, which includes a light device having a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), each for emitting light, and a device for shaping a single targeting light based on the outputs of the plurality of LEDs. The image reader includes, for example, an image system for capturing image of an indicia on an object, which includes a targeting light source for providing a targeting light to the indicia on the object; and an optical system for focusing reflection from the object, having a liquid focus lens element having a variable focus, and a controller for controlling the focus of the focus lens.

  • Publication number: 20020024613
Abstract: A video production switcher converts an aspect ratio through the use of an integrated aspect ratio converter. Additionally, by having both converted and native format signals input to a switcher processor, the effective number of inputs can be doubled.

  • Patent number: 5862692
Abstract: A safe door lock with a servo motor operated cam is described. A retracting lever is pivotally secured to the locking bolt and is displaced on a pivot connection with the bolt by the cam. The position of the cam and the bolt are detected by microswitches. When the retracting lever is in a locking position, the bolt cannot be retracted within the lock housing. The cam is operated by a servo motor and locked in position by the gear train which includes a worm gear. The locking bolt may be a slam bolt having a spring biased latch which slides therewith or the locking bolt may be a deadbolt when the lock is used with a boltwork system of a vault door.

  • Patent number: 4977765
Abstract: A delay action time lock having a lock housing in which a spring action bolt is movably connected. A retracting cam is provided for engagement with a bolt retracting lever for retracting a locking end of the bolt in the housing by means of a key inserted in a key cylinder and after an electronic timer has initiated a first preset time delay count. A motor actuated support cam is provided for normally supporting the retracting lever in a disengaged position with the retracting cam. After the preset time delay count, the bolt retracting lever is liberated to be engaged by the retracting cam. After a second preset time delay or upon the actuation of a microwswitch by the retracting lever, the motor actuated support cam is placed to support the retracting lever at its disengaged position so that as soon as the key cylinder is turned back to its initial position, the lock bolt is disengaged.
