  • Patent number: 12642603
Abstract: A system for assisting in real time in the production of at least one bone tunnel by arthroscopy in a joint of a patient, including an imaging device able to acquire two-dimensional images of portions of the joint of the patient, a first monitoring device and a programmable device.

  • Publication number: 20260073635
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented method and an associated device for modelling a joint of a patient for real-time assistance in performing at least one bone tunnel by arthroscopy in said joint, said method comprising: receiving a stream of intraoperative monocular two-dimensional images obtained using an imaging device, each of the intraoperative monocular two-dimensional images being obtained at a time t and comprising at least a region of interest of the joint; for each intraoperative monocular two-dimensional image, calculating a depth map associated with time t by implementing a first previously trained learning model, said first learning model being configured to receive as input at least said intraoperative monocular two-dimensional image obtained at time t; calculating a current partial three-dimensional model of the patient's joint associated with a current time tc, on the basis of at least one depth map associated with the current time tc, at least one depth map associated with a previ

  • Publication number: 20090264935
Abstract: A surgical implant used for stabilizing an opening site in a bone between two osseous corticals (20, 22) having a plate (14) with an upper concave part (16) and a lower concave part (18) in which the osseous cortical parts come to rest against one another. The concave parts are V-shaped grooves, each pressing against osseous corticals whereby canceling out the forces that tend to expel the plate to the front as well as the forces that tend to cause the plate to enter the osseous opening.

  • Publication number: 20090030516
Abstract: A surgical implant (22) used to fix a ligament transplant (18) adapted to connect two bones on either side of a joint. The ligament transplant is fixed in a tunnel (10, 16) pierced from the outer cortical wall of a first bone and extending through a pre-determined depth of a second bone. The implant includes a first end (24) to be fixed to the transplant and a second end in the form of a hook (26) adapted to rest on an outer periphery (28) of the first bone's cortical part at the tunnel's inlet. The hook includes two lugs (30 and 32) adapted to be disposed on either side of the tunnel inlet so the hook rests on solid bone and not on bone having a reduced thickness at the tunnel's position, the axes of the lugs preferably being orthogonal to the hook's plane. One such implant is particularly suitable for replacing the knee's anterior cruciate ligament.

  • Patent number: 4092987
Abstract: A smokable cigar-like product whose interior is formed from prepared fragments of natural or manufactured tobacco leaves. The fragments have an irregularly contoured main surface which is generally larger in all its dimensions than the thickness of the original leaves. The orientation of the fragments is such that at least one line parallel to the main axis of the product passes through the major part of the fragments encountered at an angle of incidence which is greater than zero, for example, greater than fifteen degrees.
