Abstract: A check valve assembly comprising a main housing having a main fluid passage extending along a main flow axis between a first port connectable to a first pipe and a second port connectable to second pipe; a shut off element disposed at least in part within the main housing, said shut off element extending along a shut off element axis, and a check valve. The shut off element is displaceable between a working position in which the shut off element allows a fluid flow between the first port and the second port and through the check valve, and a service position blocking the fluid flow through the shut off element. A check valve receiving element is disposed at least in part within the main housing for removably accommodating the check valve in the check valve receiving element.

Abstract: A print head for 3D printing on a deposition surface, using a PVC filament, a 3D printer for printing of a PVC object, and a 3D PVC printing process. The print head comprises a cold body into which the PVC filament in a solid state is fed, provided for transmitting the PVC filament, still in a solid state, to a hot body with a lower face ending in a nozzle with an output orifice for the output of PVC in the form of extrudate. The printer nozzle and the hot body are in one piece.

Abstract: A test stand for allowing the testing of both a pull-type lifting apparatus and a push-type lifting apparatus. The test stand includes a base and a carriage component, the carriage component including a load transmitting section and a sensor receiving section. The load transmitting section and the sensor receiving section are spaced apart by spacing members. The spacing members are slidably mounted to the base for allowing a sliding movement of the carriage component relative to the base between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. A load sensor provides a measurement of a force biasing the carriage component towards the extended configuration.

Abstract: A scissors lift with a combination wedge and lever mechanism for switching between wedging action and lever action during lift operation. This device includes a scissors mechanism, a table, a wedging device, a lever device, and an actuator. The scissors mechanism connects to the table such that movement of the scissors mechanism correspondingly moves the table. The wedging device causes a lifting action as the scissors mechanism begins moving between a contracted position and an expanded position. After the lifting action, the lever device translational moves as the scissors mechanism continues moving between the contracted position and the expanded position. Finally, an actuator initiates the lifting device's movement between a contracted positioned and an expanded position by moving in a direction substantially perpendicular to the movement of the scissors mechanism.
