  • Publication number: 20190279435
Abstract: A transport document distribution system includes a first payment terminal on the road for sale and delivery of parking documents associated with a right to a parking place and a second piece of equipment. The payment terminal provides, to a user, a list of selectable transport documents, detecting the user selection of a transport document, implementing user payment of the selected transport document and delivering to the user, in response to the payment, an identifier of the transport title. The second piece of equipment requests, from a user, the provision of a transport document identifier, in order to receive an identifier supplied by the user and previously delivered by a first piece of equipment, in order to determine, as a function of the received identifier, the transport document having previously been selected and paid for by the user and to deliver the transport document to the user.

  • Publication number: 20080257965
Abstract: The card reader includes a structure (12) for receiving a card limited by a housing for the card and also a slot (16) for insertion of the card into the housing, the receiving structure (12) including a portion (30A, 30B) for guiding the inserted card to a position within the housing for reading the card. The card reader also includes: a sweeper (40) mounted so as to slide within the receiving structure (12) from a rear position located opposite the slot (16) clear of the housing to a forward position within the housing close to the slot (16), the sweeper (40) having a front surface (46) covering at least a part of the transverse cross-sectional surface area of the housing, a mechanism (28) for operating the sweeper (40) to cause the sweeper (40) to slide from its resting position towards its forward position.

  • Patent number: 5428223
Abstract: A minicamera detects at least one .beta. and .gamma. nuclear radiation (or assimilated) emitted by a radioisotope present in a body (1, 2). Its image pick-up head (300) includes a collimator (301), a scintillator (302) and a photodetector assembly (303 to 309). In accordance with the invention, the image pick-up head (300) also includes a modulating grid (312) with holes which is arranged between the collimator (301) and the scintillator (302). The grid can completely open or close the collimator under the influence of a suitable mechanism (313). The signals acquired by the photodetector assembly in the open position are applied to a first image memory (423) whereas those acquired in the closed position are applied to a second image memory (424). Comparison and calculation means (421) provide the desired useful signal by simple subtraction of the contents of the two memories (423, 424).
