  • Patent number: 5035640
Abstract: An electric connector comprising connecting means between a connector plug body and lock which are adapted to brake the rotation of the lock in the unscrewing direction with a force greater than the force braking the lock in the direction of screwing of the latter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 2, 1990
Date of Patent: July 30, 1991

  • Patent number: 4900260
Abstract: Electrical connector characterized in that the plug body (4) and the coupling nut (10) comprise in one case a circular alignment of catches (12), and in the other an axially movable ring (13) provided with at least one complementary catch referred to as a dog (14) oriented towards the alignment of catches, elastic means (15, 16) being provided to co-operate with the ring (13) and, in a position of nonassembly of the connector, to maintain the dog apart from the alignment of catches, the ring and the elastic means being disposed in the path of the body of the coupling connector (3) so that the coupling connector body pushes the dog resiliently between the catches when assembly of the connector is completed.

  • Patent number: 4886474
Abstract: The present invention concerns a spindle-receiving jack for forming an elecrtrical connection, the said jack comprising at least three resilient tongues defining an opening for forcibly passing the stem of the spindle and shaped in such a manner that each of them has its own resonance frequency.

  • Patent number: 4744770
Abstract: Multi-pin electrical connector comprising a socket (1) and a plug (2), composed of a socket body (4) and a plug body (7), a ring (3) mounted to rotate on the plug body (7) and locking means for angularly positioning the ring in relation to the plug, in the position in which the ring is farthest forward in relation to the end of the plug, said connector being characterized in that the locking means (17) is disposed between the ring (3) and the plug body (7) and is designed so that it can be unlocked by an axial displacement command and in that the socket body (4) is assembled outside the plug body (7) and is housed between the ring (3) and the plug body (7), the length of the socket body (4) being such that upon assembly of the connector, it acts on the locking means (17) in order to unlock it.

  • Patent number: 4619491
Abstract: Connector characterized in that the base comprises a locking device (15) designed to retain the edge of the bolt of the plug, this locking device (15) withdrawing under the action of an axial opening force of the connector, which force is transmitted to the bolt and exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 4506943
Abstract: An improved mechanism for drawing the two cylindrical parts of a multi-contact electrical connector together and holding them locked in position employs three rings stacked around one of the two cylindrical parts. In one embodiment, the middle ring is able to rotate and the two outer rings are non-rotatably attached to the cylindrical part on which the rings are mounted. A barrel surrounds the three rings and is arranged to rotate with the middle ring. The barrel has a collar that engages the other cylindrical part of the connector to initially hold the two parts together. The three rings, on their facing surfaces, have sloping cams. The sloping cams are arranged, upon rotation of the middle ring, to cause the middle ring and one of the outer rings to move apart while simultaneously causing the middle ring and the other outer ring to come closer together so that the total height of the three rings remains substantially unchanged.
