  • Patent number: 4922512
Abstract: In an x-ray equipment stand designed to perform isocentric scanning movements and having three axes of rotation concurrent to the isocenter O, the isocenter can be caused to rotate about a fourth axis (Axis 4) perpendicular to the second axis (Axis 2) and parallel to the third axis (Axis 3). This permits displacement of the isocenter in the horizontal plane, especially along straight lines which are secant with the third axis.

  • Patent number: 3936642
Abstract: An X-ray film-handling arrangement for taking X-ray photographs in which the length of the format is variable, including a movable leaded mask which may cover part of the exposure field and a device for feeding and transporting the film comprising conveyor belts and a so-called indexing belt provided with a marker, which reproduces the movement of the belts. When this marker passes in front of detectors attached to the end of the mask, it causes these to generate control signals which are fed respectively to a clutch and a brake, so as to stop the movement of belts when the film reaches the front end of mask.
