  • Publication number: 20130269335
Abstract: A motor having hot working fluid having a continuously powered compression element; a constantly driving expansion element associated with at least two pairs of working chambers, each one of which comprises a cold chamber and a hot chamber connected to a hot source and isolated from the hot source by a delay system; and a linking and communication element that interacts with the compression element, the expansion element and the pairs of working chambers such that the motor continuously operates essentially according to a cycle comprising a powered compression phase, subdivided into an isothermal sub-phase and a sub-phase of raising the temperature, and a driving phase.

  • Publication number: 20130058758
Abstract: A vertical axis wind turbine installed on the top floor of a residential building, particularly in an urban area, is provided with a rotor fitted with blades and actuated by the wind, thus driving a generator to provide electrical power. The wind turbine includes a wind-channelling base which extends through a funnel, particularly a diverging tapered funnel, at the neck of which the rotor is placed. The rotor includes a median channelling hub mounted on the inner part of the neck of the funnel.

  • Patent number: 7562716
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for protecting premises in particular a tunnel against fire, consisting of a circular housing open at its two ends and deisgned to be fixed in the upper part of the premises to be protected such that its median axis (XX?) is substantially vertical, said housing comprising a substantially cylindrical lower part and an upper part substantially tapered in the shape of a bell, and containing part of vacuum-producing means capable of accelerating air circulation in and around the housing and spray means capable of injecting fine water droplets in the resulting circulating air.
