  • Publication number: 20150209504
Abstract: A medical unit for injecting a patient with an elution solution containing rubidium 82, includes, elements for receiving a strontium/rubidium generator capable of producing an elution solution that contains the rubidium 82 and that is capable of being contaminated by strontium 82 and/or strontium 85. This medical unit includes: —own elements thereof for acquiring a value related to at least one safety parameter that is associated with a maximum threshold value corresponding to a potentially excessive contamination of the elution solution with strontium 82 and/or strontium 85, and —control elements including safety elements that are controlled in an active configuration when the acquired value reaches the maximum threshold value of the safety parameter, the safety elements being capable, in the active configuration, of operating the infusion elements to the stop position in order to prevent an injection of the elution solution into the patient.

  • Publication number: 20150152827
Abstract: A pressure control valve for a high-pressure accumulator of an injection device of an internal combustion engine, includes a magnetic actuator. The magnetic actuator has a magnetic core with contacting pins and a magnetic armature with an armature plate. The contacting pins pass through feedthroughs formed in the armature plate. The armature plate is hydraulically connected by a pressure equalization channel to a valve chamber connected to low pressure. The pressure equalization channel has an opening on the magnetic core end face which opens into the armature space. At least one of the feedthroughs forms a passage for the fuel through the armature plate for the pressure equalization. A residual air gap disk is arranged between the magnetic core and the armature plate. The residual air gap disk forms an additional feedthrough with a radial extension that extends in the direction of the opening.

  • Publication number: 20150152833
Abstract: An embodiment of a plasma ignition system for an internal combustion engine having up to N cylinders includes a power splitter, N phase shifters, N amplifiers, a power combiner network, and up to N radiation devices. The power splitter divides an input RF signal into N divided RF signals. Each phase shifter applies one of multiple pre-determined phase shifts to one of the N divided RF signals to produce N phase shifted RF signals. The N amplifiers amplify the N phase shifted RF signals to produce N amplified, phase shifted RF signals. The power combiner network combines the N amplified, phase shifted RF signals to produce N output RF signals. Each of the radiation devices receives one of the N output RF signals, and produces a plasma discharge when a power level of the output RF signal is sufficiently high.
