  • Patent number: 8660775
Abstract: In a method for operating an engine start-stop function for an engine of a motor vehicle, the engine start-stop function executes engine start-stop interventions in the form of an automatic shutting down and a subsequent automatic switching on of the engine, as a function of one or more vehicle states. An engine start-stop intervention determined by the engine start-stop function is selectively prevented as a function of a statement on the number of starting procedures of the engine carried out.

Date of Patent: February 25, 2014
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Guido Baumann, Eckhart Festerling, Pierre Mathis, Enrique Naupari, Stefan Ostertag
  • Patent number: 8096284
Abstract: In a method for determining a rail pressure setpoint value for a high-pressure rail of an internal combustion engine, the rail pressure setpoint value is modified to a maximum degree using a maximum gradient for changing the rail pressure setpoint value, and the maximum gradient is read from a characteristics map as a function of operating parameters of the internal combustion engine. The operating parameters include an engaged gear of a gear-change transmission.

  • Publication number: 20070270918
Abstract: The present invention relates to an appliance for the direct measurement, display, processing and transmission, remotely, of electromyographic signals (EMG) comprising: an electrical stimulator (1) comprising electrodes for the excitation of a peripheral motor nerve; a pair of electrodes (31), for the acquisition of the EMG response at the level of the muscle associated with this peripheral nerve; an acquisition chain (2) driven by a micro-controller (3, 39), presenting means of conditioning of the input signal, comprising at least one differential preamplifier (22, 33), a bandpass filter (25, 34) and an analog/digital converter (ADC) (26, 310), said acquisition chain (2) being linked, via a standardized interface (5), to a computer (4) comprising means of storage (9) and of display of the EMG signals acquired as well as an executable program for effecting the interface with the user (6) and utilizing the data stored; characterized in that the acquisition chain (2) comprises means of automatic adjustment of t

  • Patent number: 5278807
Abstract: A manually or automatically wound extra-thin watch movement, comprising at least one barrel (3) and in which all the wheel sets are assembled in cantilever on one sole base plate (1) with the help of one ball bearing only (15 to 21). The ratchet (25) is in the form of a drum surrounding the barrel. It is swivelled by its periphery with the help of at least three rollers, each pivoted on a ball bearing, and the barrel (3) is pivoted within the ratchet by means of a ball bearing (23). This design enables reducing to a minimum the energy losses due to friction.

  • Patent number: 5119348
Abstract: In the mechanical selfwinding watch movement with an oscillating winding weight, the winding weight and the spring barrel driving the movement are pivoted coaxially, in the center of the movement, above the winding and the movement gears. The winding weight and the spring barrel have substantially the same thickness and they are on the same level. The spring barrel occupies almost the whole space in the path of the heavy sector of the winding weight. Due to the permissible size of such a spring barrel, the latter is able to store up an energy sufficient to keep the movement running during eight days at least.
