  • Patent number: 5297566
Abstract: The invention relates to a hairdressing method consisting in increasing the apparent volume of a head of hair and simultaneously setting it in this state of swelling by means of an aerosol generator. To do so, the aerosol is shaken with a mass flow of between 0.5 and 4.0 g/s at 20.degree. C., ensuring an atomization which provides a thrust of between 6,500 and 40,000 dynes at 20.degree. C. on a disc having a diameter of 160 mm, placed 150 mm from the dispensing head.

  • Patent number: 4705059
Abstract: The transducer comprises a piezoelectric double-layer plate, the movements of which, under the effect of electrical signals, directly control the flow from one or two spray nozzles. The plate is mounted in a floating manner, without any fastening, between fixed supports of the knuckle-type which do not impede the free deformation (flexion or bending) of the plate. The invention makes it possible to increase the "signal-voltage/movement" ratio of the plate and reduce the hysteresis to obtain greater accuracy and reliability of response.

  • Patent number: 4173627
Abstract: Hair lacquer compositions in pressurized containers are rendered less inflammable consistently throughout the emptying of the container by incorporating bromotrifluoromethane therein in an amount from 5 to 30% by weight based on the weight of the composition and providing the container with a valve provided with an inlet for additional gas.

  • Patent number: 4168021
Abstract: A substantially constant flow aerosol container having a dispensing valve provided in its inlet with a tube having a flow passage between 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm, and of a length sufficient so that flow occurs at a REYNOLDS number less than 3000. The propellant is a non-liquified gas.
