Abstract: A transaction card reading system, which includes: a transaction card reader having a slot for inserting a transaction card; and a protective flap movable between two positions: a closed position wherein the flap closes the insertion slot, and an open position wherein the flap is disposed at least partly outside the insertion slot. The protective flap includes a closure element integrally mounted on a one-piece support element, the closure element being shaped and dimensioned to close the insertion slot in the closed position. The one-piece support element includes at least one elastically deformable portion so as to allow switching from the closed position to the open position and vice versa.

Abstract: Pediatric liver cancers (PLC) are rare tumors. In particular, hepatoblastomas are usually treated with cisplatin-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgical removal of the tumor and adjuvant chemotherapy. However, some hepatoblastomas develop resistance to chemotherapy during the initial neoadjuvant chemotherapy or after tumor recurrence, and the molecular determinants of cisplatin resistance are yet to be discovered. In contrast to hepatoblastomas, pediatric HCCs respond poorly to chemotherapy, and as in adults, they have a poor prognosis if not completely removed by surgery. There is thus an urgent need for new therapeutic strategies to overcome this resistance. Now the inventors demonstrate that Elimusertib and Cisplatin combination shows synergistic efficacy on tumor cell viability inhibition in pediatric liver cancer cell lines. The present invention thus relates to the combination of cisplatin and Elimusertib for the treatment of pediatric liver cancers.

Abstract: A passive gravity compensator for a semiconductor equipment, which includes a stationary unit and a movable unit adapted to move relative the stationary unit in a Z-direction, includes a first assembly and a second assembly. The first assembly includes a magnet holder and a permanent magnet fixed to the magnet holder. The second assembly includes a magnetic yoke having first and second opposite parts and first and second permanent magnets mounted against the first and second opposite parts of the magnetic yoke to face each other and to form a gap therebetween. One of the first and second assemblies of the gravity compensator is adapted to be mounted on the stationary unit of the semiconductor equipment, and the other of the first and second assemblies of the gravity compensator is adapted to be mounted to the movable unit of the semiconductor equipment, such that the permanent magnet of the first assembly is movable inside the gap located between the first and second permanent magnets of the second assembly.
