  • Patent number: 9313470
Abstract: A method and system for determining correction information for the universal display of an original video sequence on a plurality of displays includes correcting an original video sequence using a first display, storing correction information related to the correction of the original video sequence using the first display, correcting the original video sequence using a different display, and determining and storing the differences between the correction information related to the correction of the original video sequence using the first display and using a particular, different display. Subsequently and prior to the display of the original video sequence, the original video sequence is corrected using a combination of the stored correction information related to the correction of the original video sequence using the first display and the respective determined differences, if any, related to a particular, different display on which the original video sequence is now to be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20140306982
Abstract: In a first aspect, the method for simulating hair having variable colorimetry comprises preliminarily recording, in a first database (101), a given number of images of given hairstyles and, for each image of a given hairstyle, at least one associated colorimetric conversion matrix for obtaining said hairstyle image by applying said matrix to a reference hairstyle image of the same style; preliminarily recording, in a second database (102), at least one colorimetric conversion matrix per lotion for a given number of capillary lotions (L1-Lk); determining a resembling hairstyle image in said database by image recognition from an image of a hairstyle (401) retrieved from an initial digital image of a person (400); identifying, in the first database, a reference hairstyle image of the same style as the style of the resembling hairstyle image and a calorimetric conversion matrix associated with the resembling hairstyle image; creating an avatar (410) from the initial digital image of the person (400), which avatar

  • Patent number: 8149338
Abstract: A method presents metadata that is used for determining the color correction processes to be performed on image data representing a sequence of moving images. Instructions in the metadata controls how many color corrections are to be performed and when such operations occur. The image data is then subjected to the specified color correction operations that are performed at specified times and in a determined order. The image data is then rendered as a series of images by a rendering device. Optionally, different regions of the image data may be subjected to different color correction operations.

  • Patent number: 7941407
Abstract: A system and method for archiving films includes dividing a film feature into N parts. Metadata is digitally stored on each of the N parts of film. The film includes both analog and digital data representing an entire record of the film on a single media for at least one N part. For each N part, the single media may include all the color component images associated with that part.

  • Publication number: 20090210460
Abstract: A system and method for archiving films includes a film feature including analog film content on a reel for archival storage. N parts of the film content are created based on criteria. The N parts include digitally stores metadata such that the film includes a hybrid of analog and digital data representing an entire record of the film on a single media.

  • Publication number: 20070268411
Abstract: A method presents metadata that is used for determining the color correction processes to be performed on image data representing a sequence of moving images (705). Instructions in the metadata controls how many color corrections are to be performed and when such operations occur. The image data is then subjected to the specified color correction operations that are performed at specified times and in a determined order (710). The image data is then rendered as a series of images (715) by a rendering device. Optionally, different regions of the image data may be subjected to different color correction operations.

  • Publication number: 20070085910
Abstract: What is proposed is a method for the color correction of digital image data generated by spectral absorption of white light in color filters of a first representation means. Color film material, in particular, is taken into consideration as the first representation means. For this purpose, firstly the primary color values R, G, B of the image data on the color film are detected. Said primary color values R, G, B are corrected in order to generate secondary color values R?, G?, B? which are related to a second representation means, for example a monitor. This correction involves taking account of the absorption of light in secondary densities of the colorants of the film material which form the color filters of the first representation means. For this purpose, a plurality of absorption spectra are generated for different densities of the colorants.
