Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing a component is provided that includes a CNC machine tool, a correction module, and a system controller. The CMM module is controllable to determine a set of multi-axis coordinates surface points on the component. The correction module is in communication with the CMM module and stored reference inspection data. The system controller is in communication with the CNC machine tool, the correction module, and stored instructions. The instructions when executed cause the system controller to: a) control the CNC machine tool to modify a surface of the component; b) control the CMM module to determine multi-axis coordinates for surface points; c) determine surface position variances using the reference inspection data and the multi-axis coordinates; d) determine if surface position variances exceed a threshold; and e) create correction action instructions for controlling the CNC machine if surface position variances exceed the threshold.

Abstract: A forestry device, for example, a bunching and felling head configured to group trees, includes a support frame and an accumulation area located proximate to the support frame. The device includes at least a first arm rotatable relative to the support frame, to gather trees, and at least one accumulating arm rotatable relative to the support frame, to secure one or more gathered trees in the accumulation area and to retract from the accumulation area to allow a newly gathered tree to be added in the accumulation area. The one or more accumulating arm(s) include(s) an inner arm pivotable relative to the support frame and an outer arm pivotable relative to the inner arm. The outer arm has at least one articulation dividing the outer arm into at least a proximate member and a distal member.

Abstract: A forestry device is provided. The forestry device, for example a bunching and felling head, is configured to group trees. Abstract: A bracket primarily for mounting on a stud wall has a bracket body formed of injection molded plastics with a first set of holes arranged generally at right angles to a side surface plane of the body for fastening the side of the bracket body against the a side of one of the studs a second set of holes arranged generally parallel to the side plane for fastening an end wall of the bracket body against a side of the stud. Thus the bracket can stand out from the wall for receiving a shelf or the bracket can be located between the studs along the outside sheathing. The bracket has a mounting sleeve at right angles to the side plane for holding an article support hook or other support extending outwardly from the sheathing.
