  • Patent number: 10943221
Abstract: A mobile electronic payment terminal includes a reversible fixed attachment to a support. The electronic payment terminal also includes a command module, which commands unlocking of the reversible fixed attachment enabling the mobile electronic payment terminal to be detached from the support.

  • Publication number: 20150293662
Abstract: A method is provided for managing the entry of data by pressing on a touch surface of an electronic terminal. The method includes: configuring a pressing validation time delay, delivering a variable pressing validation time delay according to at least one predetermined variation parameter and a rank of the pressing in a series of several pressings; and managing a plurality of pressings on the touch surface of the electronic terminal, taking account of the variable pressing validation time delay configured.

  • Publication number: 20110129048
Abstract: The system comprises a master device (10) and at least one slave device (20). Each device has wireless transceiver and interface means (12, 22), a digital signal processor (14, 24), and a clock (16, 26). The master device transmits signals at a rate defined by its clock (16). The slave device has means for determining the frequency offset between the clocks and for correcting accordingly the rate at which signals are delivered internally to its processor. At the slave end, the frequency of the external clock(s) (26) is controllable about its nominal value, and means are provided for extracting a frequency offset value from a register (50) and for responding thereto by adjusting the frequency of the second clock in the direction tending to minimize the offset.

  • Patent number: 5428781
Abstract: In a loosely coupled multiprocessor environment wherein a plurality of processors (2) are attached to a shared intelligent memory (1), a distributed scheduling mechanism for scheduling of source processors (4) with respective server processes (5) to be executed by the processors (2) upon their attachment to a data message queue (3) contained in the shared intelligent memory (1), the processes (4, 5) using data messages enqueued into, respectively dequeued from said memory (1). According to this scheduling mechanism, an independent scheduler (6) is dedicated to each of the processes of a process group, and all the schedulers monitor the status of the data message queue, and upon receipt of an empty-to-non-empty E-NE signal, the least busy scheduler dequeues shared data from the queue, so that it can be processed by its associated process, without however, loosing fault-tolerance in case of a particular processor failing.

  • Patent number: 5077763
Abstract: A measurement mechanism which can be implemented in any complex system for measuring the service times required for carrying out specified operations is described for a system having a plurality of components working in pre-emptive mode so that an operation once started by a component can be suspended to perform other operations which are requested by the same or other components if these operations have higher priority levels. The measurement mechanism includes a current status register 16 in which the system causes a status value to be stored representative of the current operation being performed by the system. It also includes a reference status register 18 in which a reference value representative of the operation to be measured is stored. These values are compared through a compare logic circuit under control of a filtering value stored in another register. When a match is detected by the compare circuit, the content of a counter is incremented.
