  • Patent number: 9438154
Abstract: Method of controlling a motor vehicle windscreen wiper motor, powered and controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM) with duty ratio (T) of determined value, in which the instantaneous fundamental period of the modulated pulses is switched successively between at least two discrete period values (T1, T2), the duty ratio (T) of the pulses (PWM) being substantially established at a determined value for at least one determined duration (Tc) of switching of the modulated pulses. Application to the reduction of the EMC noise level in the radio frequency bands to be protected.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 19, 2013
Date of Patent: September 6, 2016
    Assignee: Valeo Systèmes d'Essuyage
Inventors: Dominique Caillaud, Frédéric Floquet, Pierre Pilard

  • Publication number: 20140139060
Abstract: A band attenuator/eliminator filter (F) for the electromagnetic emissions of a brushed DC motor. This filter comprises at least one gamma filter (G) with capacitive (C1)/reactive (L1) impedance which is intended to be connected between the motor positive power supply input (M+), the motor negative power supply input (M?) and the negative terminal (B?) of the battery. The capacitive impedance (C1) is intended to be connected between the motor negative power supply input (M?) and the motor positive power supply input (M+). A reactive impedance (L2) is provided and intended to be connected in series between the motor positive power supply input (M+) and the positive terminal of the battery (B+). Application to motor vehicle windshield wiper motors.
