Publication number: 20240151163Abstract: In a fossil fuel waste incineration or plasma gasification process, waste heat generated by combustion of waste is captured by a heat transfer fluid and conveyed to an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) for energy recovery. In the case of a fossil fuel-fired waste incineration system, the heat transfer fluid captures waste heat from a double-walled combustion chamber, a heat exchanger being used to cool the hot process exhaust (gas cooler). In the case of a plasma waste gasification system, the heat transfer fluid captures waste heat from a plasma torch, a gasification chamber and combustion chamber cooling jackets as well as any other high-temperature components requiring cooling, and then a heat exchanger used to cool the hot process exhaust (gas cooler). The heat exchanger may take on several configurations, including plate or shell and tube configurations.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: JASON ROBERT TAVARES, PIERRE CARABIN

Patent number: 11077968Abstract: The invention relates to a so-called stabilization method, consisting of completing the filling of traveling egg trays. In each of the successive trays, eggs taken from an available egg reservoir are deposited in empty locations. This reservoir is made up of egg receiving cells that are movable along rows of cells in series. Depending on a filling state of the tray being treated identifying the distribution of the empty locations relative to the full locations, the reservoir is automatically configured in a configuration of egg-bearing cells complementary to said filling state of the tray in progress, so as to next transfer eggs between the reservoir and the tray in progress by correspondence between empty locations and full locations in the tray and the presence or absence of an egg-bearing cell in the reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2019Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Zoetis Services LLCInventors: Pierre Robert, Franck Robert

Patent number: 11049200Abstract: A server machine is configured to map an identifier of a user to an account of the user within a database. The server machine also embeds the identifier within a uniform resource locator (URL) that, when operated by a browser of the user, causes the browser to interact with a supplier server machine. The server machine later receives interaction result data from the supplier server machine, and the interaction result data includes the identifier of the user and an interaction detail resultant from the interaction initiated by the browser with the supplier server machine. A machine then detects that the interaction detail corresponds to the account of the user based on the identifier being both received in the interaction result data and mapped to the account of the user. Accordingly, the server machine causes inclusion of the interaction detail within an information entry that corresponds to the user.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2017Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Inventors: Adam Julian Goldstein, William Robert Glass, Melissa Anne Skevington, Andrew Joseph Dawson, Steven Clarke, Ha Tu Hang, Thomas Pierre Robert Genin, Navin Lal

Patent number: 9840375Abstract: A part-processing machine having, in series, consecutive parts on a belt (2) moving same along a main conveying line. Selectively identified non-compliant parts are removed from the conveying line, into a transfer device (1) by pickup tools (8) supported on the periphery of a rotating drum (6) mounted transversely to the conveying line and arranged to rotate about itself so as to pass over the belt, enabling the non-compliant parts to be picked up by the pickup tools and released once the parts have been transported away from the conveying line. The pickup tools have pneumatic gripping heads, more particularly for example suction cups. The pneumatic gripping heads are depressurized relative to the surrounding air by a low-pressure chamber provided inside the drum, to which each head is connected by a tube inside a tool support arm.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2015Date of Patent: December 12, 2017Assignee: VISIO NERFInventors: Pierre Robert, Laurent Queveau

Patent number: 9797393Abstract: A fluid-working machine has a working chamber of cyclically varying volume, high and low pressure manifolds, and high and low pressure valves for regulating the flow of fluid between the working chamber and the high and low pressure manifolds respectively. A controller actively controls at least one said valve to determine the net displacement of working fluid of the working chamber on a cycle by cycle basis. At least one said valve is a variable timing valve and the controller causes the valve to open or close at a time determined taking into account one or more properties of the performance of the fluid working machine measured during an earlier cycle of working chamber volume.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2015Date of Patent: October 24, 2017Assignee: ARTEMIS INTELLIGENT POWER LIMITEDInventors: William Hugh Salvin Rampen, Uwe Bernhard Pascal Stein, Niall James Caldwell, Stephen Michael Laird, Pierre Robert Joly, Michael Richard Fielding, Daniil Sergeevich Dumnov
