  • Patent number: 9915434
Abstract: An air temperature regulating assembly is provided having a packed rock bed through which air may flow between outer and inner spaces by way of interstices between rock units in order to transfer heat to or from the rock bed, in use. Dampers control the flow of air between the outer space, the inner space, an enclosed air space the temperature of which is to be regulated by raising or lowering it and the surrounding atmosphere. A fan moves air within the assembly. The rock bed is in the form of a pile of rocks having an upper surface that is inclined and directed in the general direction of the sun to directly absorb solar energy. The outer space is defined between the upper inclined surface of the rock bed and a transparent cover spaced upwardly from the surface of the rock bed.

  • Patent number: 7178820
Abstract: A front suspension (1) for a motorcycle, includes a fork (2) with a headstock (8), a sliding unit (3) that slides on the fork (2) in a substantially vertical direction, the unit (3) in turn supporting the motorcycle wheel (4), and an elastic shock absorbing assembly (5) acting on the sliding unit (3). The assembly (5) is centrally mounted within the headstock (8) and is connected to the latter by a quick-release connection (9) so that the assembly (5) can be easily removed directly from the top or bottom of the headstock (8).

  • Patent number: 6823958
Abstract: A progressive suspension device (1) for the rear wheel of a motorcycle, includes a swinging fork (2) that has a central section (10) to which one or two arms (8, 9) carrying a wheel (7) are connected. The suspension device further comprises a spring-damper assembly (14) connected at one end to a support (13) for the central section (10) of the fork (2), a rocker or lever (15) having a first end (16), with axis (16a), pivoted in seats (17) made in the engine crankcase (12) or in the motorcycle frame, the lever (15) also having a second end (18), with axis (18a), connected to the spring-damper assembly (14), A connecting rod (19) of adjustable length (C) joins the fork (2) to the lever (15). The connecting rod (19) comprises a first end (20) pivoted at an intermediate mounting point (21) between the first end (16) and the second (18) of the lever (15), and a second end (22) pivoted in a seat (23) made in the central section (10) of the fork (2).
