  • Patent number: 9094260
Abstract: A method and a system is described for controlling a service in a service provisioning network. The method including the steps of: a serving network node associated with a user terminal receiving a registration message, the user terminal having one or more of services, preferably VoIP services; and, the serving network node retrieving in response to the registration message service routing information associated with the first user terminal, the service routing information being arranged to route service messages associated with the first user terminal via a stateless application server, the stateless application server being adapted to perform control actions on said service messages.

  • Publication number: 20150113131
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system for scheduling a service event in a network includes a scheduling subsystem for scheduling the service event by selecting devices from a group, a monitoring subsystem for identifying those devices which did not successfully register with a registration subsystem of the network, and an analysis subsystem for determining selection criteria for identifying further devices which are expected to fail registration based on said devices having failed registration. By providing the selection criteria to the scheduling subsystem, the scheduling subsystem is enabled to adjust the scheduling based on the selection criteria, e.g., to avoid selecting the further devices in a further scheduling.

  • Publication number: 20150032819
Abstract: In one example, a method is provided for provisioning a user relation in a network subsystem of a telecommunication network. The method involves accessing data records indicative of network communications between users of the network subsystem; accessing user profiles on a user profile server; analyzing the data records to detect a user relation between a first user and a second user based on the data records showing network communication involving a first user identifier from a first user profile and a second user identifier from a second user profile; and provisioning the user relation by creating an entry in a database of the network subsystem. The entry includes references to the first user profile and the second user profile on the user profile serve. By creating the entry for the user relation in the database, the user relation is made explicit within the network subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20130265878
Abstract: A request is processed for setting up a communication session via a communication network between a first communication device and a second communication device. The communication network comprises a first sub-network that is configured for providing a higher quality of service, and a second sub-network that is configured for providing a lower quality of service. The first communication device is configured for communicating via the communication network using the higher quality of service. The communication is routed via the first sub-network or via the second sub-network in dependence of whether the second communication device is configured using the higher quality of service for communicating with the first communication device.

  • Publication number: 20110128954
Abstract: A method and a system for automated service migration from a first network to a second network is described, wherein the first network is connected to a Residential Network Access Device (RNAD) via a first type of signaling, with electromagnetic properties representative of the first network. The second network comprises an User Agent (UA) Registration and Management Module (RMM) communicatively connected to a routing database and the RNAD comprises a User Agent (UA) and is configured for switching between a first signaling processing modus and a second signaling processing modus. The RNAD is switched to the second modus through transmitting to the RNAD a second type of signaling with electromagnetic properties, representative of the second network. The UA is activated, configured, and registered with the RMM. The routing database is updated so that the RNAD may be reached via the second network.
