Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating user design of a computerized marketing system executable campaign or message thereof, include: providing a graphical user interface for user interaction with a virtual canvas; retrieving, from a database, component data useable by the virtual canvas module to visualize component icons; visibly arranging, within the virtual canvas and in response to user interaction with the virtual canvas via the user interface, the component icons into at least one of: a campaign design or a message design, wherein each component icon represents an action to be taken by the computerized marketing system in executing the campaign and/or the message thereof; and generating, by a build engine, the campaign and/or the message from and in accordance with the respective campaign design and/or message design.

Abstract: A marketing campaign design system includes a graphical user interface that enables a user to define a custom event with respect to an audience. The custom event associates the audience with incoming custom event data. The system also includes a journey design module that enables the user to design a marketing campaign or portion thereof via drag-and-drop of one or more journey components. The journey components represent actions to be taken by a computerized marketing system in executing the marketing campaign or portion thereof. The graphical user interface also enables the user to link a marketing campaign or portion thereof to the audience, so as to activate one or more custom journey components, usable by the user to design the marketing campaign, the custom journey components referencing the custom event data.

The electronic messages may include a live content element, which provides content to the electronic message that is determined by detected circumstances of the electronic message being opened. The electronic messages may include a smart content element, which provides content to the electronic message that is determined by a record of community activity. The electronic messages may include a kinetic content element, which provides content to the electronic message that is interactive to the recipient of the electronic message.
