  • Patent number: 11814738
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the electrochemical production of formate. The process is performed in an electrochemical cell comprising a cathode compartment containing a cathode, an anode compartment containing a nickel-based anode and an ion exchange membrane separating the anode compartment from the cathode compartment. The process comprises the following steps: (a) feeding an anolyte comprising at least one polyol to the anode compartment; (b) feeding a catholyte comprising CO2 to the cathode compartment; (c) and applying a voltage difference between the cathode and the anode such that at the cathode CO2 is reduced to formate and at the anode the at least one polyol is oxidized to formate.

  • Patent number: 11783801
Abstract: A file for use in forming a groove in a nut or bridge of a string musical instrument. The file includes a filing edge that is rounded to the same radius as the string to be fitted in the groove it forms in the nut and bridge. A spine or rib is formed along the upper edge of the file to provide stiffening and permitting the file to not bow or flex when being used.

  • Publication number: 20230264321
Abstract: A file for filing a fret of a stringed instrument includes a filing slot with two radiused side regions that are coated with abrasive material and a central crown region that is non-abrasive. Sliding the filing slot back and forth across a fret will file away material using the radiused sides. Once the non-abrasive crown region touches the fret the filing motion can cease, and the fret will be appropriately crowned without over-filing.

  • Publication number: 20230193487
Abstract: A catalyst system for catalyzed electrochemical reactions, in particular the electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide into valuable chemical products, such as carboxylates and carboxylic acids, comprises a catalyst, wherein the catalyst comprises bismuth and indium. The catalyst system can be a component of a gas diffusion electrode, that can be used as the cathode electrode in an electrochemical cell.

  • Publication number: 20220411942
Abstract: Electrochemical conversion of CO2 to formic acid or a salt thereof, using an indium containing catalytic electrode, comprising (a) electrochemically converting CO2 to formic acid or a salt thereof by applying a voltage to an electrochemical cell comprising the catalytic electrode as cathode and an anode, wherein the electrochemical cell is fed with an electrolyte comprising CO2; and (b) regenerating the catalytic electrode by lowering the voltage and subsequently washing the catalytic electrode with an aqueous liquid and exposing the catalytic electrode to air without applying voltage; and (c) optionally repeating steps (a) and (b).

  • Publication number: 20220292100
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to methods and systems for the automated processing of database records on a system of record based on results of a dynamic query session. More specifically, one or more templates can be defined. Each template can relate to a pre-defined condition of one or more records of the plurality of records and can define a dynamic query session related to the one or more records and one or more actions directed to the one or more records. The records can be monitored for an occurrence of the pre-defined condition on at least one record. In response to detecting the occurrence of the pre-defined condition on the at least one record, the dynamic query session related to the at least one record can be launched and the one or more actions can be initiated based on results of the dynamic query session.
