  • Publication number: 20230263498
Abstract: Certain embodiments provide a system for calibrating an X-ray image. The system may receive an X-ray image of an anatomical part of a patient. The system may further receive a 3-D surface scan of a surface of the patient where the anatomical part is located. The system may derive a measurement correction to apply to measurements of the X-ray image based on the 3-D surface scan. The measurement correction may account for: an orientation of the patient with respect to the X-ray detector plate, a first distance between the patient and the detector plate, or a second distance between the patient and an X-ray source used to generate the X-ray image. The system may further determine a corrected measurement of the anatomical part based on the measurement correction and a measurement taken from the X-ray image.

  • Publication number: 20230076929
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a flexible scaffold implant comprising a plurality of layered structures, the plurality of layered structures comprising: a first layered structure having a three-dimensional (3D) shape and formed from a bioresorbable material, and a second layered structure conforming to the corresponding 3D shape of the first layered structure and formed from the bioresorbable material. The first layered structure is arranged in proximity to the second layered structure. The first layered structure is configured to dissolve for resorption at a different rate than the second layered structure based on design elements of the first layered structure and the second layered structure. The plurality of layered structures are flexible.

  • Publication number: 20220125519
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing augmented reality assisted surgery are disclosed. Certain aspects provide a method including generating a virtual scene comprising one or more virtual elements comprising one or more anatomical elements corresponding to one or more anatomy parts. The method further includes identifying one or more references in an actual physical scene comprising the one or more anatomy parts. The method further includes registering the virtual scene to the one or more references to generate an augmented scene. The method further includes displaying the augmented scene on a display device.
