Operational data is collected from a machine while the machine is operating in a predetermined manner with the tool in each of at least two known health conditions. A plurality of features is extracted from the operational data, a training dataset is generated from the extracted features, and an analytic model is trained using the training dataset. The analytic model can then be used to determine the health condition of the tool by providing features extracted from operational data received from one or more field machines to the analytic model. The analytic model may then determine a health condition of the tool in the field machine based on like features extracted from the operational data from the one or more field machines.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method of high-absorptivity silica as lutein carrier. The method includes adding sodium silicate into a synthesis kettle, introducing steam for heating while stirring, adding water, stirring for reaction to obtain a reaction substrate A, and adding sulfuric acid to the reaction substrate A to obtain reaction solution B; simultaneously adding sulfuric acid and sodium silicate into the reaction solution B, performing synthesis reaction for a given period of time, stopping feeding of sodium silicate, adding sulfuric acid only for post-acidification, and aging to obtain dilute slurry D; and filtering the dilute slurry D, washing, slurrying, drying and packaging to obtain silica microspheres as lutein carrier. The invention accurately controls each process so that the prepared high-absorptivity silica as lutein carrier has high adsorption and good dispersibility and flowability after adsorbing lutein.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for remaining useful life prediction. Operational data is collected from a test machine until a component fails, and a training dataset generated from the operational data. The training dataset is used to define and validate a prediction model. Operational data received from one or more field machines is provided to the prediction model. The prediction model then predicts the remaining useful life of the component of the field machine. To reduce the time-to-failure of the component in the test machine, the component may be repeatedly subjected to an accelerated wear cycle. The prediction model may be defined by extracting features from the training dataset. Like features may be extracted from the field dataset and provided to the prediction model as part of the prediction process. The operational data received from the field machines may be used to generate an updated prediction model.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of generating mature mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) from lateral plate mesoderm comprising culturing the lateral plate mesoderm cells on an extracellular matrix in a MSC cell culture media comprising (i) fibroblast growth factor; (ii) platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF); (iii) epidermal growth factor (EGF) and (iv) ascorbic acid. Also claimed are MSCs obtained by said culture method and a method of treating cartilage and bone disease in a patient using said cells. In addition, a culture medium for deriving primitive streak mesendoderm cells from pluripotent stem cells comprising (a) activin; (b) WNT-signalling activator; and/or (c) fibroblast growth factor and a culture medium for deriving lateral plate mesoderm cells from primitive streak mesendoderm cells comprising (1) fibroblast growth factor; (2) bone morphogenetic protein; (3) follistatin; and optionally Rho-associated protein kinase (ROCK) inhibitor are claimed.
