  • Publication number: 20140185690
Abstract: By determining multimedia positioning frames, by generating a metadata according to address information of the multimedia positioning frames and the number of multimedia frames following each of the multimedia frames, and by relocating the multimedia frames following each of the multimedia frames, a data storage amount of the metadata can be reduced. Further, when a user wishes to view a specific multimedia frame of a specific time point, the specific multimedia at the specific time point can be decoded and played without having to complete download of all multimedia frames preceding the specific time point.

  • Publication number: 20140010299
Abstract: An image processing apparatus including a processor and a memory is provided. The processor generates a target frame according to a reference frame stored in a storage region. The target frame has a first image data amount, and the reference frame has a second image data amount. The memory includes the storage region for storing the reference image and the target image. The processor has the target frame selectively overwrite a part of the reference frame. The capacity of the storage region is smaller than a sum of the first image data amount and the second image data amount, and is greater than the second image data amount.

  • Patent number: 8213512
Abstract: Included are embodiments for determining an intermediate image. At least one embodiment includes receiving data associated with a first motion vector and receiving data associated with a second motion vector, wherein the first motion vector and the second motion vector define a first image and a second image. Some embodiments include determining a single set of potential pixel values for an intermediate image, the single set of pixel values being determined from the first motion vector and the second motion vector and creating the intermediate image from the single set of potential pixel values.

  • Patent number: 7110046
Abstract: A method for dynamically adjusting video brightness performs histogram equalization on a video YUV brightness/color signal to generate an equalization brightness curve. The brightness of each pixel is compared with every pixel of the video frame before and after histogram equalization to generate a comparison difference value. The brightness of the pixel is adjusted so that the brightness difference after adjustment won't be larger than three times of the comparison difference value and won't be smaller than a fourth of the comparison difference value. The brightness of each pixel before and after histogram equalization is compared, one by one, to generate a brightness difference value. The brightness difference value is adjusted so that the brightness difference after adjustment won't be larger than a largest brightness value and won't be smaller than a smallest brightness value. The brightness of each video frame can be properly adjusted to accomplish clearer displaying effect.
