    Abstract: The present invention discloses an optical touch panel system, an optical sensing module, and an operation method using for the same system. The system recognizes a track of an object moving on or above a touch control surface to determine a corresponding gesture function; it includes a touch control surface, at least one image sensor, and a processor. The touch control surface includes at least two touch control areas. The image sensor captures a plurality of continuous pictures including the images of the objects. The processer determines which touch control area the object is moving on or above according to a starting position or a path of the track, and executes a gesture function corresponding to the track and the touch control area.

    Abstract: The present invention provides proteins that are suitable to be used as the active ingredient in subunit vaccine against Mycoplasma spp. The present invention also provides a subunit vaccine made therefrom. Said proteins have been experimentally proved to have the capability of inducing sufficient immune response to avoid pigs from Mycoplasma spp. infection. Said vaccine may have one of said proteins as active ingredient; or may have two or more of said proteins and is formulated as a cocktail vaccine. The present vaccine not only is safer than the conventional vaccines but also has equal or even better immune efficiency than the conventional ones. Furthermore, fusion partners suitable for producing said proteins of high solubility are also proved, which can significantly reduce production cost.

    Abstract: Finger cuff adjustability is provided in a measurement cylinder assembly in a unique manner which accommodates the size and space limitations inherent in a mouse-based blood pressure measurement device. The exterior radial surface of the inflatable cuff is adhered to a pull-tab which is longer than the cuff length and has a tab end channeled through a pair of rings, one of which is fixed or stationary and the other of which is an adjustment ring. Rotation of the adjustment ring either pulls or pushes the tab end through a slit in the fixed or stationary ring depending upon the direction of ring rotation. Pulling the tab end causes the adhered finger cuff to forcefully collapse around the user's finger in firmer engagement therewith and to compensate for a finger of smaller diameter. Pushing the tab end causes the adhered finger cuff to forcefully open to a larger profile to loosen the engagement with a finger and to compensate for a finger of larger diameter.

    Abstract: A voice wakeup detecting device for an electronic product includes a front end detecting circuit, a speech recognition processor and a main processor. The front end detecting circuit judges whether a voice signal contains a sub-keyword according to sub-keyword model parameters. If the front end detecting circuit confirms that the voice signal contains the sub-keyword, then it generates a first interrupt signal. In response to the first interrupt signal, the speech recognition processor is enabled to judge whether the voice signal contains a keyword according to keyword model parameters.     Abstract: A fast device discovery protocol with a high success rate for device-to-device (D2D) communication in LTE-A networks is proposed. With the proposed protocol, device discovery is done by monitoring a randomly transmitted beacon from other devices within a pre-defined period. In one embodiment, an eNB receives scheduling requests from D2D UEs and in response allocates a distributed uplink resource for random access of beacon transmission by the D2D UEs. The distributed resource is dynamically allocated based on the number of requesting D2D UEs, a discovery period, and a target discovery probability to minimize the required resource.
