Abstract: An ultrasound imaging system may acquire an image of a liver. The liver may be segmented from the image. Parameters, such as image homogeneity map, intensity probability chart, and/or speckle size diagram, may be extracted from the liver portion of the image. The parameters may be used to determine whether fatty liver deposits are diffuse or inhomogeneous. In some examples, inhomogeneous regions may be excluded from the calculation of liver fat quantification measurements. In some examples, the inhomogeneous regions may be displayed so that a user may select a region of interest that excludes the inhomogeneous regions to calculate the liver fat quantification measurements.

Abstract: Provided is a drive head (40), a drive assembly (20), and a process cartridge (10), wherein the drive head (40) is mounted to a gear (12), the drive head (40) comprises a shaft part (16), a claw (15), and a first elastic element (14), and the shaft part (16) is sleeved by the claw (15) which can move stretchably along the shaft part. The drive head (40), drive assembly (20), and process cartridge (10) have the advantage that the drive head (40) is hard to falling off.

Abstract: A portable urine detection device and method is disclosed by the invention which relates to the technical field of urine detection. The invention includes a detection device and a cloud backstage system, of which the detection device comprises a shell, a slot component, a fixed component and several test strips. The circuit board is fixed in the shell. Several LED lamp beads, a camera module, a first algorithm module, a second algorithm module, a third algorithm module and a fourth algorithm module are fixed on one surface of the circuit board. One side of the circuit board is provided a USB port; one side of the USB port penetrates one side of the shell; the other side of the shell is provided with an opening; one side of the shell is connected with a smart phone through a USB port and an OTG data line. The fixed component comprises a bottom plate.

Abstract: In a method for estimating probability of purchase, a dataset of financial transactions is received. Values are determined for variables for each of the individuals of the dataset. An average time between purchases of a particular category is determined based on the dataset. The determined average time is correlated with the determined values. A table or function is produced for estimating probabilities of purchase within windows of time of the particular category based on the correlation. A subject is identified. Values are determined for the variables for the subject, based on the dataset. The produced table or function and the determined values are used to estimate a probability of purchase within the windows of time for the particular category for the subject.

Abstract: A dental carrier comprises a thermoplastic carrier. The thermoplastic carrier has a pattern structure. After heating the thermoplastic carrier, the thermoplastic carrier is provided with a user to be impressed by teeth or alveolar ridge for forming teeth or alveolar ridge model of the user. Compared to the prior art, the dental carrier of the present invention can provide the dental medicament contained in the pattern structure to be precisely applied and hold onto the treatment area and the medicament can be evenly coated on the teeth, root, or periodontal tissue for the treatment of teeth. When the dental carrier is not used to carry medicament, the pattern structure can improve the mechanical strength and fitness of the dental carrier to be used as a biteplate, orthodontic retainer, periodontal dressing for treatment or protection or mouth guard in sports.

The sound detectors are spaced apart and disposed at two different locations of the housing. The sound detectors are configured to detect an audible sound and transform the detected sound into electrical signals. The control circuit receives the electronic signals. The control circuit is configured to determine a relative direction of a location of the detected sound and generate a first control signal according to the determined direction.

The method comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof an effective amount of stem cells comprising a transgene encoding at least one oncogenic protein, wherein the stem cells are immortal and show no signs of neoplastic transformation; and administering to the mammal a vaccine composition comprising an effective amount of at least one immunogenic protein capable of eliciting at least one antibody specific against the at least one oncogenic protein, and thereby inhibiting growth and/or metastasis of a tumor in the mammal. A therapeutic kit for inhibiting growth and/or metastasis of a tumor in a mammal is also disclosed.
