    Abstract: A motor assembly includes a working part, a synchronous motor having a shaft, and a mechanical coupling joining the working part to the motor. The coupling has two driving teeth fixed relative to the shaft, two driven teeth fixed relative to the working part, and two middle members. The coupling provides a predetermined range of angular movement between the motor and the working part. The middle members are circumferentially distributed between the two driving teeth and between the two driven teeth, thereby each of the middle members is movable by the driving teeth to contact the driven teeth and provides an interference between a driving tooth and a driven tooth to drive the working part.

    Abstract: A patient lift apparatus designed to lift and transfer patients is provided. The patient lift apparatus includes a patient lift base and a modular patient support device removably connected to the patient lift base to support a patient. The patient lift base includes a cantilever element, a portal frame, three wheel assemblies, a hanging mechanism. The cantilever element is pivoted intersectionally with the portal frame. The three wheel assemblies are disposed at the bases of the cantilever element and the portal frame, as three bearing points. The hanging mechanism is pivoted to the top of the cantilever element and connected to the modular patient support device below. When the cantilever element and the portal frame are rotated relatively, the height, the shape and the positions of the bearing points of the patient lift apparatus are changed accordingly.

    Abstract: A backlight module and a method for manufacturing a base thereof are provided. The backlight module base includes a back plate and a frame. The back plate has a plate body and at least one sidewall, which includes a wall body and a folding structure bending from the top of the wall body. The folding structure, the plate body, and the wall body together enclose a groove. The frame is formed on the plate body and adjacent to an inner surface of the sidewall. A part of the frame is embedded into the groove. The engagement between the frame and the groove increases the contact area between the frame and the back plate to improve the connection strength. In addition, the folding design of the sidewall increases the rigidity of the whole structure.

    Abstract: A method for autonomous monitoring includes the following steps. A plurality of video signals of a region to be monitored is collected by a video signal collecting module. A current image and a previous image of the region to be monitored are analyzed by an image processing module. A number of points of difference between the current image and the previous image is calculated by an image comparison module. The image comparison module stores a predetermined threshold value of different points and is capable of outputting an alarm signal when the number of different points exceeds the predetermined threshold value.
