  • Publication number: 20040133381
Abstract: This invention relates to a control method for spatial and level searching applied to a panoramic stabilized periscope especially for use in military vehicles. The control method of the present invention uses platform altitude angles including heading, pitch, roll and spatial level constant elevation angle pointer vector as inputs, and periscope gimbal azimuth angle (AZ) and elevation angle (EL) command as outputs.

  • Publication number: 20030163294
Abstract: A method for reducing the size in designing a servo system simulation program configured in a programmable calculator. The method has the following steps: determining a servo type is a generalized type, and assigning servo parameters; then determining an input function as a combination function, and using a plot to display the input function; the servo type sequentially generates an output function and a state variable according to the servo parameters and the input function, and uses a plot to display the output function. Thus, the memory usage of the programmable calculator is reduced, and the programmable calculator can be applied to the simulation of the servo system.

  • Publication number: 20030133204
Abstract: A derotation mirror system for a common-optical-path panoramic stabilized periscope. The derotation system has a first surface-reflecting mirror, a second surface-reflecting mirror and a third surface-reflecting mirror. Through subsequent reflection of light from the surface of the first surface-reflecting mirror, the second surface-reflecting mirror, the third surface-reflecting mirror and a rotation of the entire derotation mirror system with respect to the Z-axis, the derotation is achieved. Since this invention only requires three reflections, the derotation system allows the lights with various wavebands (such as visible light, infrared light and laser beam). In addition, the derotation system manages to constrain the propagation of the output image vector and the output image vector along the same Z-axis line.

  • Patent number: 6513940
Abstract: A field-of-view switching and focusing system of a common-optical-path periscope, having an aspherical reflecting mirror system, a field-of-view driving system and a focus driving system. The field-of-view driving system and the focus driving system are located at two sides of the aspherical reflecting mirror system. The field-of-view driving system allows the aspherical reflecting mirror system to rotate, thereby, different curved faces of the aspherical reflecting mirror can reflect the incident light, so that the field of view can be switched. Further, by a linear movement of the aspherical reflecting mirror system driven along the optical path by the focus driving system, the focus fine adjustment is performed.

  • Patent number: 6455969
Abstract: A single-stator-double-rotor rotating motor has one upper-layer rotor, one intermediate-layer armature and one lower-layer rotor. The upper-layer rotor and lower-layer rotor are embedded with the same number of magnets to form a magneto type magnetic pole, stator electrodes of the same number as the number of magnets are disposed on the intermediate-layer armature to form an electro type magnetic pole. A skew symmetry exists between an upper-layer rotor and a corresponding lower-layer rotor, and the upper-layer rotor and the lower-layer rotor are rotated in opposite directions by commutation of the current flowing through exciting coils of the stator electrodes every T/N of time, wherein T is a rotation period of the upper-layer rotor, and N is the number of the magnets.

  • Publication number: 20020063484
Abstract: The present invention discloses a single-stator-double-rotor rotating motor, mainly comprises at least one upper-layer rotor, at least one intermediate-layer armature and at least one lower-layer rotor. The upper-layer rotor and lower-layer rotor are embedded with the same number of magnets to form a “magneto type” magnetic pole, stator electrodes of the same number as the number of magnets are disposed on the intermediate-layer armature to form a “electro type” magnetic pole. The characteristic of the present invention is that a skew symmetry exists between an upper-layer rotor and a corresponding lower-layer rotor, and the at least one upper-layer rotor and at least one lower-layer rotor are rotated in opposite directions by changing the direction of the current flowing through exciting coils every T/N of time, wherein T is a rotation cycle of the upper-layer rotor, and N is the number of the magnets.
