Abstract: An orientation adjusting apparatus for a speaker set has a moving device, which is received in a housing, and includes a first motor, a second motor, a co-moving wheel, and an up and down movably frame biased upwards by springs. The first motor comes into contact with a top of the frame at a depressing wheel thereof. The second motor is secured to the frame, and has a second wheel. The co-moving wheel is connected to the frame. When the first, and the second motors are activated, the frame will be moved down by means of the depressing wheel for both the second wheel and the co-moving wheel to stick out from the bottom of the housing to come into contact with the ground, and the housing will be moved left and right by means of the second wheel with a rear support leg thereof as a pivot.

Abstract: A CD player comprising a CD cap swingable to open or close with the ability to turn on and off power by its closing and opening movement. A CD turning disc supporter is displaceable up and down for rotating a CD placed in one of the recesses formed in the turning plate or to lower the CD turning disc for swinging open the CD cap to change a CD turning disc to change a CD or to package the CD player for transportation by use of two projections and a roller provided at one side of the CD turning disc supporter interface with an inclined-faced wheel so that the disc supporter may be maintained in an immovable location.

Abstract: A separable compact disc player with an elastic hold-down member consists of a cabinet, a base and a dust cover. The improvement of the present invention is that a hold-down member which is beneath one side of the base includes a hold-down block disposed at the external end of the hold-down member, a rod protruding out of an elliptical slot of the base and a blind hole disposed in the internal end of the hold-down member. The blind hole is capable of being inserted and pushed by one end of a spring member whose the other end is fastened on an under wall of the base. Under the elasticity of the spring member, the hold-down member is capable of easily protruding into or being withdrawn from a longitudinally contoured through hole of the cabinet so as to assemble or disassemble the base and the cabinet rapidly.

Abstract: A record player is provided with a turntable brake for instantly stopping the turntable of the record player in playback when desired and a pair of balance wheels for permitting slant of the turntable within a predetermined range when manually operating the turntable. The turntable hereof has a peripheral drum portion extending downwardly from its bottom and a rubber shoe is mounted on one end of a pivoted lever arm. The lever arm is adapted to be actuated to press the rubber shoe against the drum portion of the turntable for stopping rotating movement of the turntable by means of friction.

Abstract: This invention relates to the design and construction of hinge units for joining a case and its corresponding lid, which comprises: a pair of bend units with a receptacle body in between for keeping a spring integrally connected to a side wall of a case; a guide member slidably inserted in the hollow space of the receptacle body and supported by the spring; a joint plate having a through opening running transversely through the lower portion thereof to be joined with the bend units by means of an inserted pin; and a socket integrally connected to a side wall of a lid for receiving a portion of the joint plate therein.
