  • Publication number: 20140181968
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are for monitoring operational activities in networks and detecting potential network intrusions and misuses. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an intrusion detection system can collect logs from an authentication, authorization, and accounting system. The intrusion detection system can extract information from the logs, update intrusion detection information utilized by an intrusion detection rule based upon the information extracted from the logs, update a profile utilized by the intrusion detection rule, compare the profile and the intrusion detection rule against a running state of an on-going session, tag corresponding log entries with a threat score, calculate the threat scores from the corresponding log entries to create an aggregated threat score, and present the aggregated threat score. The intrusion detection system can also present an alarm if the aggregated threat score triggers an alarm condition.

  • Patent number: 8187820
Abstract: The invention discloses a detection method using nanoaggregate-embedded beads and system thereof, which are characterized in that the nanoaggregate of Raman dye and metal nanoparticles is coated by an inorganic oxide to form a nanoaggregate-embedded bead, and which is then conjugated with a probe molecule to form a sensor bead. The Raman spectra of the product formed by binding of the sensor bead and an analyte in a sample is detected for determining whether the analyte exists in the sample. In embodiment, the pH of the solution of metal nanoparticles is controlled to keep at 10, and the concentration of the Raman dye is controlled to keep between 1×10?6 M and 2×10?6 M for reducing the size of the nanoaggregate.

  • Publication number: 20110269148
Abstract: A nanoaggregate embedded bead is formed from an inner core formed of comprising metallic nanoparticles and Raman active reporter molecules, an outer shell, and single-domain antibodies to target the bead to a specific target. The nanoaggregate embedded bead may be used in methods to detect analytes or pathogens in biological or environmental samples using Raman spectroscopy.

  • Publication number: 20100050425
Abstract: A rotary positioning mechanism used for positioning a circuit board to a bottom plate of a chassis is disclosed, which has a plurality of positioning holes concentrically formed on the circuit board and a plurality of positioning columns disposed on the bottom plate of the chassis corresponding to the positioning holes respectively. Each of the positioning holes has an inserting portion and a positioning portion, and each of the positioning columns has a head portion capable of passing through the inserting portion of the corresponding positioning hole and a neck portion connected to the head portion and capable of engaging with the positioning portion of the corresponding positioning hole. By rotating the circuit board relative to the bottom plate of the chassis, the neck portion of each of the positioning columns is engaged with the positioning portion of the corresponding positioning hole, thereby positioning the circuit board to the bottom plate of the chassis.

  • Publication number: 20090195979
Abstract: An electronic device with fans is provided according to the present invention. The electronic device with fans includes an opening on a lid body of electronic housing, wherein one or more engaging portions are disposed on the rim of the opening, and the fans are engaged with a shield panel. While the fans are installed in the electronic device via the opening, the rim of the shield panel is engaged with the engaging portions to seal the opening. While maintaining, testing or replacing the fans, the fans are removed from the electronic housing by taking off the shield panel without opening the lid body.
