    Abstract: The present invention relates to a surface treatment process and a coating mechanism of a rolled tape, in which a feeding module conveys a rolled tape so that the rolled tape is conveyed by the feeding module to first contact a surfactant received in a surfactant tank and then moved to a drying device to have the surfactant dried, and then moved to one side of a coating assembly to contact therewith, where the coating assembly receives a covering material contained in a receiving tank to attach thereto and control the thickness thereof for subsequently applying and coating the covering material to the rolled tape. The rolled tape, after being coated, is moved towards a baking device to have the covering material dried and is then collected by the feeding module.

    Abstract: A tape capable of automatically arresting is provided which includes a casing, a gauge accommodated in the casing, arresting members, and a button movably mounted on an end of the casing. A notch is defined at an end of the casing. The gauge includes a reel shaft and a scale strip spirally enlacing the reel shaft. Each arresting member includes a rod, an abutting block on an end of the rod and corresponding to a side of the reel shaft, and a resilient portion around the rod. A button includes a pressing portion received in the notch, and a rotating shaft corresponding to the pressing portion. The rotating shaft includes a first arm and a second arm in response to the abutting blocks of the arresting members. In the event the scale strip of the gauge is pulled out, the arresting members automatically limit movement of the scale strip.

The mounted wheel has a serrated portion being arranged around inner sides thereof. The pivot portion being fitted into the opening has an axis and a plurality of posts on a side thereof and a driving bar on another side thereof. The transmission wheel has an operation gear. By the first gear and the second gear respectively and cooperatively operate with the mounted wheel and the transmission wheel, the transmission wheel is therefore rotated four circles as the pivot portion is rotated one circle, so duration of reeling the measuring blade becomes less.

    Abstract: An end hook of a measuring tape has a bent end hook and a protective piece, each with at least one strike concave body slightly in a long elliptical shape disposed thereof respectively; a central hole is disposed on the strike concave body. Two long holes are disposed on the end portion of the rule strap opposite the end hook, corresponding to the strike concave body. The strike concave body on the end hook penetrates through the long hole of the rule strap and aligns with the upper aspect of the strike concave body of the protective piece. The rivet penetrates the long hole on the rule strap from the central hole and is riveted to the lower rim of the central hole of the protective piece thereby fastening the end hook and the protective piece into one unit.
