    Abstract: A RJ plug connector includes a plug body with a base section and a plurality of conductive contacts received in the base section. The base section defines a front mating face and a rear cavity. A latch with a lead-in is form on the top face to locking with a socket connector. The RJ connector further defines an optical fiber module which is incorporated with the latch adjacent to the lead-in and has a coupling interface at a front face of the latch. It not only can insure large capacity and high rate data transmission, but also can extend data transmission distance without loss.

    Abstract: An optical disc drive is provided, mainly comprising a buffer, a processor and a driving module for accessing an optical disc. The optical disc drive receives a plurality of write commands. Each write command comprises a data block and a destination address. The buffer buffers data blocks to be recorded to the optical disc with corresponding write commands in either a random mode or a sequential mode. The processor schedules a recording operation based on the write commands, and selectively switches the buffer to the random mode or to the sequential mode based on arrangements of data blocks buffered in the buffer. The driving module is controlled by the processor to perform the recording operation, whereby the data blocks are recorded to the optical disc when a start recording condition is met. Specifically, the start recording condition varies with the random or sequential modes.

In some examples, a task server and a context memory are implemented in a hardware accelerator for a task. The task server is configured for communication with the logic design. A task stub configured for execution by a computer for the task is generated. Calls to the task are received from a test bench in the computer at the task stub. Remote procedure call (RPC) channels are established in response to the calls. Values of input arguments for the calls are transferred to the context memory through the RPC channels. Execution of threads of the task in the task server is triggered using the values of the input arguments in the context memory as parametric input.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for processing assertions in assertion-based verification of a logic design are described. One example relates to processing an assertion during verification of a logic design. An evaluation engine is generated that encodes, using a non-deterministic finite automata (NFA) model, temporal behavior of the logic design required by the assertion for a single attempt to evaluate the assertion. The evaluation engine is implemented in first reconfigurable hardware. The logic design is simulated over a plurality of clock events. Attempts to evaluate the assertion by the evaluation engine are preformed sequentially based on input stimuli obtained from the logic design during simulation thereof. Each of the attempts results in one of the assertion passing, the assertion failing, or the assertion requiring further evaluation.
