  • Patent number: 11955861
Abstract: A stator of a brushless motor is disclosed which includes a stator core, an insulating frame arranged on the stator core, and a plurality of windings wound around the insulating frame. The stator core includes a ring-shaped yoke part and a pole part mounted to the radial inner side of the yoke part. The pole part includes a plurality of teeth spaced-apart from each other along the circumferential direction, and a ring-shaped portion arranged at and connected to the radial inner side of the teeth. The radial outer sides of the teeth abut against the radial inner side of the yoke part. The insulating frame is arranged on the pole part. A plurality of power terminals are fixed to one axial end of the insulating frame and respectively electrically connected to the windings.

  • Patent number: 10243416
Abstract: An electric motor includes a stator and a rotor. One of the stator and the rotor includes a magnetic core, preferably an iron core. A reactive metal or a mixture or reactive metals is fixed to the magnetic core. The or each reactive metal has a reactivity greater than the reactivity of the metal of the magnetic core. A rotor and a stator is also provided. By fixing the reactive metal or metal mixture to the magnetic core of the motor, rotor or stator, oxidation and corrosion of the core can be avoided or reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130309109
Abstract: A motor includes a stator and a rotor disposed in the stator. The stator includes a housing and a plurality of magnets attached to an inner surface of the housing. The rotor includes a shaft, with a rotor core and a commutator. Windings are wound on the rotor core and terminated on the commutator. The rotor core includes a plurality of teeth extending outwardly about which the windings are wound. Radially outer surfaces of the teeth are coated with a Zn-Al film.

  • Patent number: 8115363
Abstract: A commutator 10 comprises an electrically non-conductive base 12; and a plurality of electrically conducting segments 16 supported by the base 12. Each segment 16 comprising a first electrically conductive inner layer 18 provided on the base 12, and a second electrically conductive outer layer 20 fixed to the inner layer 18. The inner and outer layers 18, 20 have opposing surfaces 21, 22 which abut each other, once the commutator is assembled. An opening, preferably being a recess 30, for receiving flux and/or air during the fixing of the outer layer to the inner layer is provided in at least one of the opposing surfaces 21, 22. There is also provided a DC electric motor which includes such a commutator 10.
