Abstract: Divan bed comprising an almost parallelepiped frame structure, a plurality of movable frames, each constrained and movable according to roto-translative motions from a closing to an opening position, wherein said frames in the closing position are sequentially folded one over the other, and in the opening position, are consecutively aligned, and a mechanism able to move said frames characterized in that the mechanism comprises at least one lever, hinged in the node between the frame (2), a headrest, and the adjacent frame (3). In this way, undesired closure of the divan bed cannot occur.

Abstract: Innovative mechanism for a divan bed enabling the adjustment in three positions, said “divan”, “relax” and “bed”, comprising padding elements supported by two frames; said frames can reciprocally move by means of two angle-bars, concurrent in a point; one of said angle-bars supports the frame forming the seat of the divan bed and the second one supports the frame forming the back of the divan bed; moreover comprising an articulated quadrilateral which supports said second angle-bar. The mechanism is characterised in that the angle-bars constitute a release mechanism which enables the three positions, stable respect to the divan bed base, while the quadrilater stiffly moves the angle-bars in other three positions. Therefore, the main feature of the mechanism is the univocal positioning between the angle-bars and the quadrilateral elements, without any other additional element as, for example, stop elements like ratchet or pawl.

Abstract: Sofa bed comprising innovating mechanisms for position adjustment and quick assembly. It comprises padding elements supported by two hinged frames and is characterised by a mechanism which allows the wheels of the front legs to touch the floor in both position said “bed” and “sofa. Moreover, said sofa bed comprises a mechanism which locks the rotation of the seat frame respect to the back frame and to obtain a lever which makes easier to convert the bed into a sofa. Finally, according to a subsequent aim, the assembly of a spacing bar to the right and left sides is less difficult; this spacing bar is needed to provide a sufficiently rigid base for the bed.
