  • Publication number: 20260137779
Abstract: Recombinant polynucleotides and vectors containing an engineered (artificial) exon-intron-exon gene structure in a transgene are provided, which undergoes splicing when it is expressed in a target cell.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 16, 2026
    Publication date: May 21, 2026
Inventors: Timothy P. Cripe, Chun-yu Chen, Brian Hutzen, Mark Currier, Pin-yi Wang, Dawn Chandler
  • Publication number: 20260097088
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a modified oncolytic herpes simplex virus (oHSV) comprising an expression cassette encoding a histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG), and uses thereof. One promising avenue for the treatment of cancer is oncolytic virotherapy, e.g., oncolytic Herpes Simplex Virus (oHSV) which utilizes genetically modified viruses to selectively target and lyse cancer cells while sparing the normal cells. Oncolytic virotherapy is a safe and effective immunotherapeutic platform for different types of cancers.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 17, 2023
    Publication date: April 9, 2026
Inventors: Chun-Yu Chen, Pin-Yi Wang, Timothy P. Cripe
  • Patent number: 12480097
Abstract: The disclosure provides a non-natural herpes simplex virus (“HSV”), compositions comprising, or alternatively consisting essentially of, or yet further consisting of the HSV, and methods of producing the HSV, or infecting a cell with the HSV. Also provided herein are methods of treating cancer or inhibiting the growth or metastasis of cancer cell in a subject in need thereof.
