  • Patent number: 11433101
Abstract: The invention relates to the Proline-Rich Polypeptide complex (PRP) derived from the mammalian colostrum for use in the treatment of the disorders and conditions related to the alterations of the Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor level as well as modulation thereof, particularly disorders and conditions wherein therapeutic strategy is based on the increasing of the BDNF concentration in blood. The PRP complex is postulated to be used for nutrition of adults, young children/babies and infants to promote and preserve the proper development and function of both immune and nervous system. PRPs may be used for supplementation of modified milk and infant milk formulae to make it closer to breast milk.

  • Publication number: 20210338424
Abstract: A delivery system for implants used in structural heart diseases by a minimally invasive method comprises a catheter (2) which is connected with the distal section of the balloon (1) and on the other side with the straight cap with the lateral canal (10) to which a pressure syringe for pumping the balloon is attached. The catheter is covered from the outside with a special shield (8). The balloon (1) has a necking in the middle section and inside the balloon and in the catheter (8) there is a canal (6) led outside the balloon formed at the end in the shape of a coil (3). Inside the balloon (1) or outside it at its distal and proximal ends the system is equipped with at least one anchoring mechanism shapely formed crimped on the balloon surface of the implant preventing its uncontrolled moving.

  • Publication number: 20210290382
Abstract: A low profile balloon expandable artificial prosthetic heart valve, particularly aortic, for transcatheter implantation comprises a valve frame of cylindrical structure. The cuff made of the polymer material is inseparably integrated with the frame so that the valve frame in the supporting section is embedded or sewn into and covered from the internal side and from the outside with the cuff material, which folded into the interior section of the frame and in the frame valve section is formed into valve leaflets in bicuspid or tricuspid configuration and in the said section it is attached to the frame and to the frame posts, and the cuff material excess is led into the longitudinal openings in the posts.

  • Publication number: 20210290380
Abstract: A method of forming prefabricated units used in production of systems of prosthetic aortic valve transcatheter implantation and prosthetic aortic valve prefabricated unit with an non-thrombogenic smooth surface layer or with a porous fibrous layer constituting a scaffold for epithelium cell culture, intended for manufacturing TAVI system. Stents for covering and solutions of polycarbonate silicones and/or polycarbonate urethanes and/or polyurethane with average molecular weight in the range from 50 000 g/mol to 200 000 g/mol in the solvent DMAC are prepared. Initially a smooth layer of polycarbonate silicone is applied in the electrospinning machine by electrospraying with use of the solution in DMAC with the concentration of 2-8% w/w.
