  • Patent number: 12146347
Abstract: A low-profile handle assembly adapted for use in a hatch cover of a storage compartment of a vehicle, the handle assembly including: a recessed housing including a top edge defining an opening; and a handle coupled to the recessed housing and disposed conformally within substantially the entirety of the opening defined by the top edge of the recessed housing; wherein the handle is adapted to pivot with respect to the recessed housing about a first pivot axis disposed at an intermediate longitudinal location along the recessed housing and the handle and about a second pivot axis disposed at an end longitudinal location along the recessed housing and the handle. The first pivot axis is formed by a translatable, extensible link assembly coupling the handle to the recessed housing.

  • Patent number: 11668119
Abstract: Coupler-actuator assembly for a powered latch system of a hatch lid of a storage compartment of a vehicle, the coupler-actuator assembly including: a housing adapted to be disposed partially or wholly within and coupled to the hatch lid of the storage compartment or the storage compartment itself; a motor disposed partially or wholly within and coupled to the housing; an actuation mechanism disposed within the housing and coupled to the motor; and one or more slider racks disposed partially or wholly within the housing and coupled to the actuation mechanism. The coupler-actuator assembly also includes one or more connecting rods coupled to the one or more slider racks. The coupler-actuator assembly further includes one or more latch assemblies coupled to the one or more connecting rods, wherein, when actuated, the one or more latch assemblies are adapted to release the hatch lid from/secure the hatch lid to the storage compartment.

  • Patent number: 11325447
Abstract: An adjustment mechanism (7) for an air vent (5), which adjustment mechanism is adapted to guide an air stream flowing through the air vent. The adjustment mechanism comprises one or more adjustable first vanes (17) having a main extension in a first direction (D1), one or more adjustable second vanes (19) having a main extension in a second direction (D2) being angled to the first direction, a shaft (23) extending in the first direction and being rotatable around its length axis, a slider (47) being movably attached to the shaft, such that the slider is able to slide along the shaft in the first direction, and a rack (45), extending in parallel to the shaft and a pinion (41), rigidly connected to one of the second vanes and configured to cooperate with the rack.

  • Patent number: 11261626
Abstract: A latch assembly for a storage compartment in an automobile is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a latch module, including a latch bolt, and a striker. The latch bolt is moveable between an extended latched position, in which the bolt axis is coaxial with a longitudinal axis of the latch casing, and a retracted unlatched position, in which the bolt is withdrawn into, and its axis is oblique with respect to, the latch casing. When in the oblique position, the latch bolt is retained in the unlatched position within the latch casing. A spring member within the latch casing biases the latch bolt to both extend axially from the latch casing, and pivotally toward the inner retaining surface of the latch casing. Upon closure, the bolt is moved, via contact with the striker, from the withdrawn oblique retained position, and returns via spring bias to the latched extended position.
