  • Patent number: 11977462
Abstract: A computing infrastructure that includes one active site and one passive site. Each site includes a private cloud connected to a public cloud, at least one virtual machine, a replication module to replicate each protected virtual machine in the other site, and at least one site recovery manager module paired with the corresponding site recovery manager module in the other site. The at least one site recovery manager module is configured to synchronize disaster recovery configuration information including at least one group of protected virtual machines and at least one recovery plan via the pairing, and to execute each recovery plan in case of disaster. Each site also includes a cloud orchestrator configured to update disaster recovery configuration information in each site recovery manager module on request.

  • Publication number: 20210345614
Abstract: Disclosed herein are amide 7-carboxybenzo[1,2,3]thidiazoles and derivatives thereof having a general Formula I, as described herein. Combinations and compositions of these compounds are also disclosed. The compounds and compositions can be used as a plant stimulant. For example, the compounds compositions can be used to regulate the plant's growth, regulate the plant's metabolic processes, regulate the plant's physiological processes, prevent against effects of biotic stress in the plant, or prevent against effects of abiotic stress in the plant. In some embodiments, the composition can provide multiple disease resistance to plants infected with a fungus, virus, or bacteria.

  • Patent number: 10820142
Abstract: A communication server and a method of operating for distributing an application to a plurality of portable communication devices in response to a public safety event. The communication server includes an electronic processor that determines an incident area that geographically surrounds a location of the public safety event, and determines a desired number and desired roles of personnel to respond to the public safety event. The electronic processor also determines whether portable communication devices are located within the incident area. The electronic processor then automatically transmits the application to portable communication devices located within the incident area and associated with the desired roles of personnel until the application is installed on a number of portable communication devices that equals the desired number of personnel for each role.
