    Abstract: The present invention relates to game applications on cellular phone devices. It also relates to a new possibility to reduce the communication load of mobile communication networks for downloading high quality game software to game-enabled cellular phone devices. The present invention further relates to a method and a download device and a game enabled cellular telephone device for downloading game software for a game-enabled cellular phone from a server to said game-enabled cellular phone via a download module and an internet connection. The method of the invention is based on establishing a local connection between said game-enabled cellular phone and said download module, establishing an internet connection between said server and said download module, and starting a game download from said server, via said internet connection and said local connection through said download module to said game-enabled cellular phone.
