  • Patent number: 11966466
Abstract: A protection system is provided for delivering runtime security to a task including a workload container. The protection system uses a sidecar to limit access of the workload container to a standard library of the operating system running the workload container by modifying the task so that the sidecar is executed before the workload container. The sidecar places a guard loader into a shared volume and binds the workload container, such that calls to the workload container are passed to an agent binary. The agent binary compares requested calls from the workload container to a policy to approve and/or deny the requested calls. If the requested call is approved, then the requested call is passed to the standard library.

  • Publication number: 20240127862
Abstract: The present invention includes a system for improving the visual quality of recorded videos, especially screen recordings such as webinars. The system automatically detects the boundaries of individual tile elements on a screen recording, and then performs facial recognition in order to identify which tiles include a human face and for tracking that face even when the tiles are repositioned over the course of the video. The system uses liveness detection to determine which tiles are video tiles and which tiles are screenshare tiles and then automatically shifts the relative position of the video tiles and the screenshare tiles to create an improved aesthetic quality of the recorded videos. The system is further capable of automatically integrating a company's color branding or logos into the recorded videos.

  • Publication number: 20240121775
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for improving sidelink communication reliability. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may map allocated sidelink resources from a logical domain to a physical domain, where the mapped resources may include greater frequency diversity in the physical domain A frequency range of a sidelink control channel or of a sidelink data channel may be greater in the physical domain than in the logical domain after the mapping. In some examples, sidelink communications may be associated with an aggregation factor that represents a number of repetitions of a sidelink communication. In this example, a UE may repeat a sidelink communication within a contention-based resource pool a number of times before receiving feedback in order to increase communication reliability. A first UE may communicate a sidelink communication with a second UE using a resource mapping or repetitions of the sidelink communication.
