Abstract: Methods and systems for provisioning a secure element of a digital device with financial credentials of a consumer are disclosed. In an embodiment, an external entity computer receives from one of a merchant computer or a manufacturer computer, a consumer order for a digital device that includes a secure element (SE). The external entity computer then obtains, based on the digital device information setup data of a digital device which fulfills the order, and transmits a financial account provisioning request including the setup data and the consumer account information to a token service provider (TSP) computer. The process also includes the external entity computer receiving provisioning data including a personalization script which includes financial account token credentials of the consumer from the TSP computer, and then personalizes the ordered digital device with the financial account token credentials.

  • Publication number: 20200413347
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques for multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) in a cluster may coordinate scheduling and communications with a user equipment (UE). Different TRPs may allocate uplink resources for one or more UEs within a coordinated cluster to transmit feedback information. A first TRP may provide a first set of resources that one or more associated UEs may use to transmit acknowledgment (ACK) feedback to indicate successful receipt of a downlink transmission of the first TRP, and one or more other TRPs of the coordinated cluster may provide a second set of resources that the one or more UEs may use to transmit negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback to indicate that a downlink transmission of the first TRP was lost. The second set of resources may include non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) resources.

  • Publication number: 20200402594
Abstract: Various methods include receiving, by a controller, a temperature reading of a memory array, the temperature reading includes a temperature value; determining the temperature value is below a first threshold; in response, modifying a duration of a verify cycle of a write operation to create a modified verify cycle; then programming a first data into the memory array using the write operation that uses the modified verify cycle. Methods additionally include receiving a second temperature reading of the memory array, the second temperature reading includes a second temperature value; determining the second temperature value is below a second threshold, in response, decreasing the duration of a verify cycle of a verify cycle to create a second verify cycle, where the second verify cycle is shorter than the modified verify cycle; and then programming a second data into the memory array using the write operation that uses the second verify cycle.

  • Patent number: 10869266
Abstract: A relay device in a mesh wireless access network (WAN) may listen for a signal during a pre-wakeup (PWU) period to determine whether to power on a radio during a wakeup cycle. If the relay device receives a signal during the PWU period, it may power on a radio to transmit a discovery broadcast or to send and receive data. The relay device may also receive synchronization signals during the PWU period to maintain timing synchronization in cases when the wakeup cycle includes long periods of inactivity. That is, different internet of everything (IoE) devices (including relay devices) may operate in different discovery modes based on different mobility patterns. Devices that move frequently may operate in a transient operating mode. Devices that rarely move may operate in a persistent operating mode, and may take advantage of the PWU synchronization signals.

  • Publication number: 20200372066
Abstract: A system or process may generate a summarization of multimedia content by determining one or more salient moments therefrom. Multimedia content may be received and a plurality of frames and audio, visual, and metadata elements associated therewith are extracted from the multimedia content. A plurality of importance sub-scores may be generated for each frame of the multimedia content, each of the plurality of sub-scores being associated with a particular analytical modality. For each frame, the plurality of importance sub-scores associated therewith may be aggregated into an importance score. The frames may be ranked by importance and a plurality of top-ranked frames are identified and determined to satisfy an importance threshold. The plurality of top-ranked frames are sequentially arranged and merged into a plurality of moment candidates that are ranked for importance. A subset of top-ranked moment candidates are merged into a final summarization of the multimedia content.
