    Abstract: A sweep voltage generator and a display panel are provided. The sweep voltage generator includes an output node, a current generating block and a voltage regulating block. The output node is used to provide a sweep signal. The current generating block is coupled to the output node, includes a detection path for detecting an output load variation on the output node, and adjusts the sweep signal provided by the output node based on the output load variation. The voltage regulating block is coupled to the output node for regulating a voltage of the output node.

    Abstract: An apparatus for producing silicon carbide crystal is provided and includes a composite structure formed by a plurality of graphite layers and silicon carbide seed crystals, wherein a density or thickness of each layer of graphite is gradually adjusted to reduce a difference of a thermal expansion coefficient and Young's modulus between the graphite layers and silicon carbide. The composite structure can be stabilized on a top portion or an upper cover of a crucible made of graphite, thereby preventing the silicon carbide crystal from falling off.

    Abstract: A system tracks poses of a passive object using fiducial markers on fiducial surfaces of a polygonal structure of the object using image data captured by a camera. The system includes an object tracking controller that generates an estimated pose for a frame of the image data using an approximate pose estimation (APE), and then updates the estimated pose using a dense pose refinement (DPR) of pixels. The APE may include minimizing reprojection error between projected image points of the fiducial markers and observed image points of the fiducial markers in the frame. The DPR may include minimizing appearance error between image pixels of the fiducial markers in the frame and projected model pixels of the fiducial markers determined from the estimated pose and the object model. In some embodiments, an inter-frame corner tracking (ICT) of the fiducial markers may be used to facilitate the APE.

    Abstract: Urine detecting and signalling device for use in a diaper includes two pieces of flat conductive foil and a control unit. The two pieces of the foil are positioned under an absorbent material of the diaper. Each of the foil has an inner end located in the diaper, and an outer end protruding from lateral side of the diaper. The control unit has two end conductors, and a circuit electrically connected to the end conductors. The control unit is detachably fitted on the diaper with the end conductors electrically connected to the outer ends of the foil. The circuit and the foil are completed by urine of the diaper flowing into the absorbent material to activate a load of the circuit to alert the attending person.
