The chip card protecting cover assembly includes a housing, a first magnet and a second magnet. The magnetic force between the first magnet and the second magnet drives the protecting cover to rotate relative to the housing, thereby covering or exposing the chip card.

Abstract: A keyboard displays a clock time with light sources. The keyboard can transmit light through spaces positioned between a plurality of keys of the keyboard. The keyboard further can transmit light through the plurality of keys of the keyboard. The keyboard further includes two buttons for adjusting the clock time displaying on the keyboard.

Abstract: A hinge with variable torque is disclosed to include a first part, which has a shaft at one side thereof and recessed portions on the peripheral wall of the shaft, and a second part, which has a sleeve disposed at one side thereof and grooves on the inside wall of the sleeve. The sleeve is pivotally coupled to the shaft of the first part. A first contact area and a first friction force are produced between the peripheral wall of the shaft and the inside wall of the sleeve when the first part is turned to a first angle relative to the second part, and a second contact area and a second friction force are produced between thereinbetween when the first part is turned to a second angle relative to the second part.

Abstract: An electronic system comprises an automatic power control (APC) unit, an adjustment unit, and a calibration unit. The automatic power control (APC) unit receives a first input signal and a second input signal and generates an output signal. An adjustment unit coupled to the first input terminal of the APC unit generates a voltage offset according to an adjustment signal. The calibration unit provides the adjustment signal with a series of values. The calibration unit monitors the output signal until the output signal changes states.

Abstract: A polymer carrier tape for placement of a passive device includes polymer of 10˜80% by weight of polyolefin (e.g., PE, PP), polymer of polyolefin grafted with acid anhydride or polymer of cross-linked polyolefin blended with calcium carbonate, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), traces of anti-oxidant and 5˜30% anti-static agent by weight in a polymer compounding process to produce an admixture, the admixture is then molded into coiled carrier tape to replace conventional paper carrier tape.
