    Abstract: An integrated converter with single-ended control and power factor correction includes an input unit, a boost inductor, a voltage regulator, an energy-storing capacitor, a buck-boost converter, a single-ended switch and a control unit. The voltage regulator and the buck-boost converter share the single-ended switch and the control unit in order to correct power factor, reduce output ripple, simplify the complexity of circuit and decrease the number of components. The voltage regulator is utilized in reducing the frequency of switching and the conductive losses, thus improving overall performance. With the magnetic loop, the transformers of the boost inductor and the voltage regulator can be merged, and thus the efficiency of the whole spatial usage is increased and the noise interference is reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a controller with quasi-resonant mode and continuous conduction mode and an operating method thereof. The controller comprises: a transformer, a switching unit, a load-detecting unit and a controlling unit, and the transformer has a first winding and a secondary winding. The secondary winding connects to a load in parallel, and the switching unit electrically couples to the first winding. The load-detecting unit electrically couples to the switching unit for detecting status of the load. The controlling unit electrically couples between the switching unit and the load-detecting unit for switching operating modes between a quasi-resonant mode and a continuous conduction mode based on the status of the load.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a power supply circuit for driving at least one light emitting diode (LED). The power supply circuit comprises: an input unit, an active power factor corrector, a converter, an output unit and a feedback unit. The input unit is utilized to receive power signal from a power source, and the output unit is utilized to receive power transferred from the converter for driving at least one LED. The feedback unit couples to a node between the converter and the output unit, and delivers the power signal, from the converter to the output unit, back to the active power factor corrector. The active power factor corrector monitors the power signal based on the power signal from the feedback unit for stabilizing the outputting power from the output unit and thereby driving the LED.
