  • Publication number: 20160156212
Abstract: A battery control circuit includes a pulse controller, a first FET, a second FET, an inductor and a capacitor. The pulse controller includes a first and a second driving port. The gate electrode of the first FET is connected to the first driving port. The drain electrode of the first FET is connected to a battery. The gate electrode of the second FET is connected to the second driving port. The source electrode of the second FET is grounded. The drain electrode of the second FET is connected the source electrode of the first FET. The inductor is connected between the source electrode of the first FET and the capacitor. A power port is connected to a connection of the capacitor and the inductor. The pulse controller controls the first and second driving port to output pulse signal alternatively, to alternatively switch on the first and second FET.

  • Publication number: 20150188344
Abstract: A charging and discharging control system for a battery is disclosed, and the battery is configured to charge or discharge for a peripheral device. The charging and discharging control system includes a voltage converting circuit, an embedded controller, a current detection circuit. The voltage converting circuit is electrically connected the battery with the peripheral device, and the battery charges the peripheral. The embedded controller is electrically coupled to the voltage converting circuit. The current detection circuit electrically coupled to the voltage converting circuit. The current detection circuit is configured to detect a current value between the battery and the peripheral device and send a power-off signal when the current value is equal to zero. The embedded controller is configured to send a power-off notification upon detecting the power-off signal, and the voltage converting circuit disconnects the battery and the peripheral device upon receiving the power-off notification.

  • Publication number: 20150006921
Abstract: A power supply adaptor includes more than one path to an output terminal electrically coupled to and powering a load, and can switch between paths according to the level of current being drawn by the load. In addition to first and second power supply paths, there is a switch controller, and a determining module. The first power supply path is electrically coupled to the output terminal and provides a first voltage. The second power supply path includes a battery and the battery provides a second voltage. The determining module connects to the switch controller. The determining module detects a first current of the first power supply path and a second current of the second supply path to determine the electrical load being drawn. The switch controller switches between the first switch and the second switch according to the electrical load.
