  • Patent number: 11960253
Abstract: A system and a method for parameter optimization with adaptive search space and a user interface using the same are provided. The system includes a data acquisition unit, an adaptive adjustment unit and an optimization search unit. The data acquisition unit obtains a set of executed values of several operating parameters and a target parameter. The adaptive adjustment unit includes a parameter space transformer and a search range definer. The parameter space transformer performs a space transformation on a parameter space of the operating parameters according to the executed values. The search range definer defines a parameter search range in a transformed parameter space based on the sets of the executed values. The optimization search unit takes the parameter search range as a limiting condition and takes optimizing the target parameter as a target to search for a set of recommended values of the operating parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240113806
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced low-density parity-check (LDPC) coding. A device may generate a frame comprising a data field, wherein the data field comprises a number of information bits. The device may calculate a required initial number of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols based on the number of information bits. The device may calculate an initial number of segments in a last OFDM symbol of the number of OFDM symbols. The device may calculate a number of data bits that can be filled within an initial number of OFDM symbols. The device may determine an LDPC codeword length based on the calculated number of data bits that can be filled. The device may cause to send the frame to one or more devices based on the LDPC codeword length.

  • Patent number: 8542788
Abstract: A blind scan system in a DVB-S system includes a spectrum parameter extractor to fetch and calculate a coarse carrier frequency offset and coarse symbol rate of a signal; a digital mixer to depend on the coarse frequency offset to shift the center of a spectrum of the signal to a position where a DC part of a working spectrum of a digital matched filter locates, so as to produce an offset signal; and an interpolator to perform a down-sampling on the offset signal according to the coarse symbol rate in order to improve the in-band signal-to-noise ratio of the digital matched filter and mitigate impacts due to adjacent channel interferences. Thus, the fine carrier frequency offset and fine symbol rate estimation can be performed accurately.
